Yeah, good shout. I'll have to see if this tennis ball has the... balls to sort this thing out.

Do not dose up and ignore indications of problems - I.e. pain. Massive Massive no no. I'd have thought someone as educated in medical science as you would have known better SMed :p

I'm not ignoring it, as I haven't really been taking anything for my sessions so far, I just want to minimise distractions for my 1RM attempt. I don't mind people taking something for the initial beginner DOMS so long as they keep training through it, but I'll be the first to say NOT to take NSAIDs regularly. Regular long-term NSAID use is almost asking for serious irreversibly gastric problems.
 
Decided to do some core work as I didn't get around to it last night.

Ab rollouts 5x5 with 7kg dumbbell
Planks
10min jog slowly going from 8kmh to 10kmh (Need to get some cardio going!)
 
Cheers guys! Yes Delvis, princely age of 24 now - well and truly over the hill :p

Had a shoulder work out yesterday, after a weekend of almost no sleep and paintballing. Actual work out wasn't too bad, altho my form for 60kg power clean to push press was seriously sloppy on a few reps :p and I managed to get the biggest rear delt pump I've ever seen on myself!

Got a birthday leg session today, bring it on!
 
Didn't end up going to the gym over the weekend - baby sickness causing stress and lack of motivation and a planned session in the garage didnt happen last night due to a horrific headache.
Must get to the gym tonight for a swim and a relax I think!
 
Gots me some leg DOMS today after hitting single leg, unweighted, squats yesterday, on recommendation of my sports massage therapist (post knee injury, christmas time). Don't see them mentioned much on here, and really felt they 'hit' something i was missing in my back squats.

same can be achieved with nice deep weighted lunges without the stability issues and risks or mobility demands.

I do weighted Bulgarian Split Squats instead of back/front squats currently, and they certainly destroy my legs somewhat more!

The new wagon seems to like bashing me for stopping because I screwed my back over. Hey ho, hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else ;)

How is your training going anyway? Been a while since an update? :)
 
Average , coming out of a slump right now really got maybe 6 good months under my belt since sorting myself out but diet hasnt been on point. Just about to get a blog going for the year probably do it here or maybe wordpress, should be interesting i wanna go from where i am now to doing some competitive regional lifting this time 2013. I just dont post around here anymore much because its gotten quite cliquey, there is one way or the highway.
 
In other news, just bought 4x20kg plates for the garage and an oly EZ bar. Another £150 paid out for my gear, just need to get bloody using the stuff lol
