Hi guys,

I have a faulty Samsung HD103SJ F3 HDD that failed the Seatools tests and gave me a fault code, and the link sent me to the Seagate website where it populated the return form for me and allowed me to RMA it, however I just want to be sure as the return form states 'Seagate Barracuda' and has a Seagate part number AND the Samsung HD103SJ part number?

So can I RMA to Seagate and will I get back another F3?

Also, where can I buy 2" thick packing foam as that what they state in their return policy and I don't want them to refuse the RMA?

Thanks all :)

Yes they do. I did this a couple of weeks ago with the same drive and called them to double check. Their RMA office/warehouse is in Coventry :)

The UPS pickup point to ship to the Netherlands is in Coventry.

Thanks, can I ask what packaging did you use and how long did it take to get a replacement?

Pack in a box with bubblewrap or sponge with the hdd in an antistatic bag, turnaround is anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks usually for me, usually a week-ish.
