how do i identify rare items, please someone ? probably the same as it was in d2 ?

edit: ok thanks it works. just got a load of rare items from the butcher.

The end of ACT 1 cut scene is just awesome! Bloody loving the game so far.

+1 It was superb.

Had a great run at it so far. I think I'm near the end of act 2 now, probably still got a dungeon or so though. There's a huge amount of content it seems, it just keeps on going.

I would, humbly, suggest playing through normal by yourself to get the story, then group up.

I'm thinking that, I can't be bothered with people that just want to rush through it.

Poison darts are still viable at any stage I'd say, as they scale with weapon dmg/int. You may want to try and craft one yourself, and try and get useful stats.

The thing is, I have a dagger as my primary weapon but he never uses it, I have the dagger equipped because it increases my mana.

How do I make a peashooter?

Worked my way through Act 1 with my monk and having bucket loads of fun. Fast weapons + WoaHF + frenzy shrine = things explode faster than you can say boom .

Really? iv just finished act2 and once i got the mass spider spell at like lvl6 it just seemed like the peashooter had way too low dmg?

Iv tried going back to the upgraded peashooter too but it just seems like it hurts my overall dps too much.

Im using the Firebombs now to great effect

I find the opposite, it seems to deal the most damage for me whereas the spider jars are slow and make me open at close range?

I've never played Diablo before though!

The stuttering is really making me not want to enjoy this game at all.

Now I remember why I liked Xbox gaming so much, just fire up and you'd hardly ever have gameplay related issues.

The poison dart is just a skill, you don't actually get a peeshooter weapon. The skill goes off weapon damage (regardless of what it is) and +% damage from intellect etc.

You can lob the jars the length of the screen and once you get the leaping spiders upgrade it becomes a predictive bomb where you chuck the jar into the path where the mobs are headed.

They work well because once they kill an enemy they all leap onto the next target, you end up with 5 or 6 jars of spiders on the screen at the same time attacking multiple foes.

What are peoples intellect like on their witch doctors? Im at 320 atm interesting to see what others are at.

Just signed off for the night as my Witch Doctor, took about an hour and a half to get logged in but well worth it in the end .

With the rig in sig the performance is fantastic and don't seem to be getting any of the lag issues other have been reporting, locked FPS @ 58.

Looking forward to some (hopefully) trouble-free gaming tomorrow night

It might even be worth trying to boot up midday or something, so you can beat them on, and just leave the game running out of the way or something...

I've been playing with the dagger you get at the start... for 12 hours!!!

That sounds good, erm... I'm level 20 with 92 intellect?

Ohh my God, I went to Options-Account-Server Region Selection and apparently I have been playing on American servers so I have to start again on european, guys try and do this aswell it's american servers that have gone down for maintanence not european.
