Some info on the possible vehicles from GTA V.

Vehicle List Leak

On May 15, 2012, it was discovered that the Max Payne 3 disc may have information on Grand Theft Auto V's vehicles buried in its source code. This has happened before with Bully and Red Dead having source code that contained Grand Theft Auto information.[1]

A full list of vehicle names has been extracted from the code and posted below.

It's just what Rockstar do.

I imagine it's because of the people who like Rockstar games, rip apart the code to go through stuff to find such info.

I think it's pretty cool.
 
Just think how awesome it would be if GTA had licenses for official vehicles. Yes they can be modded in but if they had actual cars as standard I believe it would take the game to another level.

I'm sure we all know that, but it raises awareness and keeps popping up. Marketing is not a magical thing :p

I'd rather it didn't, the fun of GTA is the figuring out what it's mocking, it'd be ruined if things became real.

Its fun a) trying to compare it to what real life motor its copying... and b) having to try them all to find out their performance/handing... ok you sort of get the gist by the look of it, but still some things surprise you.

Id also doubt real life manufacturers would allow a rusty version of their car in the game and some even dont like damage iirc isnt that what hampered GT in the past? Imagine all cars damaging and then seeing for exmaple a Ferrari that is like a soild block ramming into things.

Part of the fun, for me at least, was guessing what car they were trying to replicate.
