When I played Diablo 2 I loved it... Titan Quest awesome, however Diablo 3 I got a guest key and there was nothing there that made me rush to get my credit card and especially at that rip off price!. The ground based graphics are not the best i mean everything is wowish and it all looks too smooth, I like it gritty, sharp, dark and evil.

I know what you mean, while I'm really enjoying it, it doesn't have the WOW factor I was expecting (and no, I don't mean "WoW" :p) for some reason!?!?

If you are looking for something darker and grittier, maybe look at Path of Exile or Grim Dawn - both in development and look promising!

For me though, D3 ticks all the boxes and I'm really looking forward to playing it in co-op with a couple of mates!

This game is a £25 title and that's what i'd pay

I paid £22, then decided to get the CE and it's been more than worth it. :)

The following comments are not aimed at anyone, not even the people I've quoted ;)

The problem with trying out a trial key is that you're effectively playing a tutorial. Diablo has never been about Normal difficulty, it's a warm up, where you can test out things, get used to the quests, blast through quickly if you like. The true game wont become clear until you're a lot higher level, well geared, and pitched against the really nasty boss mobs or mob pack combinations.

I'm loving this game at the mo, but since I've only just started act2 normal, and only with 1 character type so far, my overall judgement is reserved. My main worry is the ability to change skills at will, meaning there'll never be a need to roll more than 1 of each chtr (well, 2, HC too). No more having 3 different barbs (ww, frenzy, throwing) on the account when you can just pop things in the stash & change at will.

Oh, and I paid £27 - if I hadn't been able to get it cheaper than the £45 Blizzard wanted, I'd have paid that too. Doesnt make me a fanboi, but it does mean I love the previous games and there was no way I was missing out on this one :)

Selling stuff on the gold AH is impossible right now, anyone manage to sell anything? Its over saturated with everything!

I'm loving the game. Payed £33 but would have quite happily payed £50+

Even with the horrible stuttering problems I still am loving the game.

Just hope they give a fix soon.

I only ever played Diablo 2 on normal, it was good enough to wear out my finger. I think these games are more about the feel, I will know if I like it in a short time. I'm not going to waste tons of hours with it, if it doesnt compell me within the first few hours then, its done a poor job, and isnt worth sticking for longer.

Anyway whats the storage like, I hated having to keep messing around trying to fit stuff into it the chest.

Blegh, contacted Blizz support regarding my distinct lack of Diablo 3 Guest Passes in my CE (I mean really, who on earth would want a WoW Guest Pass? especially since trials are now unlimited and can have RaF) and they told me to contact Amazon. I thought some part of Blizz/Activision produced the Collector's Editions?

omg I even did maximum caps! TOM_D i shouted

Go into your options and set both background and foreground max fps to 200 it's fixed the stuttering for a lot of people

It's helped a bit but not as much. I've left the boxes ticked and with them ticked again and upped to 200 it hasn't made a massive difference really.

Cheers anyway. :)

I'm still inclined to think it's something server side
