Damn you seriously can't underestimate gems.

Mid-late Act III, crafted a rare wand that had around 35dps and a socket. Put a Ruby in it, weapons dps is now 47 and it jumped my dps up 64 (to 387).

Gotta love the fact you can remove gems from items too.

PS. Archon is pure badass.

Didn't improve at all though it helped others, I don't play the game anymore as it's just not the diablo I loved it's a rip off hack n slash game in a wow skin

I think it's pretty boring tbh. I know I'm in a minority but if it came out five years ago I think it would have been ok. I kind of wan't more from a game now than just continually clicking the mouse button.

Just finished normal for my monk :D

I was a bit unlucky and didn't find any legendary or set items, but at least I finished page 1 of my stash and got my crafters up to the point where they now need items.

I did have one annoying bug while playing, at some point during Act 2, my achievements stopped being counted, and it wasn't until act 4 that I noticed I started getting achievements again. Not a big deal, but I wish I caught onto it sooner and perhaps I wouldn't have spent as much time doing some of them.

Does anyone else seem to permanently never have enough gold? After scraping together 5k to craft a wand (after getting 7k for the training) I then had to go scrape together 2k to upgrade my Rubies to go in it. Then with nothing immediately to buy I stock up 6k... then find a merchant out-and-about selling a pretty nice sword for 8k... so I have to run around and get another 2k... buy the sword... then I have to go get another 500 gold to remove the gem from my old weapon and put it in my new weapon (an overall increase of about 24 dps).

Now with all that spending I need to start levelling up my smith a bit more to keep up with me ><

Edit: The achievements were broken for most of yesterday evening at least. I'm missing a few from act I and the start of act II.

creepy, exactly the same as me, monk also. Didn't get any legendarys but maxed out my jewelcrafter/blacksmith to level 4, need pages now, and my achievements didnt count until i got past level 20, so don't have the skeleton king achieve templar achieve and level 10/20. And a few more :p

So...

Loving the game. Not a single bit of disappointment from me.

Now onto Nightmare!

Didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I am, the graphics are decent rather than great but the overall style is awesome (D3Dark improves things as well) and whilst it's pretty simple gameplay I can't stop myself playing it.

I like the fact you can change your character at will rather than being stuck with powers that sounded good but turn out to be useless. There are certainly parts that cater to the casual player but there seems plenty to get stuck into, I can see myself going through to level 60 with at least 3 characters so I should get a good few months of gaming :)

I am level 19 still on act 2. I wonder if these people that have finished already, a) have they slept b) did they skip every dungeon or seller they could ?

I literally just arrived in Act 2 on Lvl 18. I think people that are getting through are missing out exploring everything whereas I uncover the whole map and enter every dungeon/cave/crypt I can.
