Hey all,

I would say most people have their first concert :p - What was yours?

Mine was in 2009, and I went to see "Them Crooked Vultures" at Hammersmith Apollo. I went on my own, as none of my friends really saw the appeal of them :p I got there early, and ran to the front. Came away with bruises on my chest from the front railings - but it was an amazing experience :D

Silverchair, Shepherd's Bush in 2003. All I remember is being really high up, I only went because my girlfriend loved them :p Turned out to be quite good actually.

Metallica, Sheffield Arena 1995 and it was epic!

I was wrong, it was in fact the even further back in 1992 on the Wherever we may roam tour at Sheffield Arena. I though I was still at college when I first saw them.

Texas back in 89 at a local gig.

I worked the doors back then and was fortunate to see bands such as Oasis, Stone Roses, Then Jericho, Supergrass, etc efore they got really big.

IIRC Oasis were actually the support band for a band call 18 Wheeler at Lucifers Mill in Dundee where I worked.

Foo Fighters - One by One Tour - Glasgow SECC

Awesome :D

Awesome first gig :D I've been a fan of the Foos for years but didn't even see them live until last year when I managed to get a ticket to their secret Dingwalls gig. Best concert I've ever been to - Only 400 people! They blew my mind :D

Iron Maiden, Brave New World Tour, Earls Court, 2000.

Iron Maiden, liverpool 1979. Dad took me, cheers old man :D

Wow that's a pretty sweet first gig :p Iron Maiden are incredible :)

Some massive rave at the Three Arts in Cape Town back in 1998.

Saw Carl Cox, Leftfield and Orbital.

As for an actual, non-dance-music concert, my first was actually seeing Chris Rea with my ex's parents.
