***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

I've been looking at reviews of earphones and really I've been looking for phones that won't work their way loose while walking or in very windy situations. I walk to and from work and I live next to the sea and commute by ferry so it does get very windy and I found my E100s do work their way loose.

The Phonak loop over the ear which seems great and the buds are reported to create a nice tight seal. I don't like the earphones that clip on the ear (Sport earphones!) and prefer a much more traditional look without sacrificing the attachment to the ear!

Will find out Friday I guess :p

One of the tech sites did a review of in ear phones recently.
Their brief was to test sets that were available on the high st as they were assuming that you had broken an existing set and need to dash out and get a replacement and the winners were...

Marley Redemption Song Midnight In Ear Headphones

I have no idea whether they are any good though as Im not an audiophile

I bought some Beyerdynamic MMX 101iE's a few months ago, absolutely epic sound quality and it has a built in mic. Works with every mp3 player and phone I've tested it with... except for my Sony X10 (which is what I bought it for), for some reason you get that underwater effect but I think that's something Sony specific as my official Sony headphones do the same in any other device.

But yeah, I really recommend these headphones, amazing: BeyerDynamic MMX 101iE. Even WhatHiFi recommend them :)

Are Vodafone any good? I’ve heard mixed reviews about them.

I'm Currently on O2(would like to stay with them, not had issues at all) but had a call from Vodafone and they offering me a very good deal. Called O2 they can’t come close :(

What's the deal? I'm on Vodafone, off contract, and they have refused to deviate from the online prices while on preorder.

mrk & others ordering SIM free - what's the best deal about? I'm not too bothered about pre ordering, having to go to a specific shop or wait a day for it to be delivered. I'm just looking for somewhere that is giving us the most free stuff when shelling out the £500 for the phone.

Having looked around before ordering at Play, the others like CPW etc don't offer much for sim free pre-orders. I think Play have the best offer with official bumper case and screen protector.

Westfield Samsuing store has yet to call me back though so screw them!

Hmmmm I won't use the screen protector and try to avoid using a case at all. Doesn't really give much information on what type of case it is either, or any decent photos.

What do you recon is the best way to get the most money from my Galaxy S2, 1x official spare battery, 1x extended battery, 1x official power pack and 2x cases?

It's the official Samsung bumper case according to the details. No photos released for it yet.

Sell the S2 only to o2 recycling, £230. Sell the rest on AVforums or something :p

Ah right, guess the phone isn't worth anything more than £230 through ebay or something?

I wouldn't risk it on ebay either way, too many morons buying phones on there who could take you for a ride. Phone is 350 brand new now anyway so used 230 is about right and a good offering.

I use a Bluedio I4 music headset business class, No 1 selling bluetooth stereo headset in China, didn't cost much and I've been impressed with all the features, stopping in ears and sound.

They said to me because I showed interest and put my name down on the pre order list (website)they doing special deals for these people.

12 month contract(will not sign more than this)
900 min
Unlimited Text
I think it was 1gig data
£9 for the phone, normally £189
All this for £46 quid a month.

I think it’s a pretty good deal! As I said, O2 don’t come anywhere close matching this!

Cracking deal since they want £249.99 for the handset on their website

Wish i had registered interest with them instead of where I did now :(
