And just got a few questions:

First off i was worried when i looked at CPU (i5 3750k) as it had no pins :D but that was me being nab.

1. Solved

2. The little rubber circles, i assumed they were for sticking on the Motherboard mount points? have i been an idiot and they're supposed to go elsewhere? i couldnt see it said, they came with the 600T.

3. SSD doesn't fit on screw holes on harddrive cages because of the 'screws' which pop on normal HDDs, am i missing something? i get some velcro tomorrow so i will propably stick to to back of mobo tray but for tonight...?

4. I kind of messed up cpu cooler installation, my k2 comes tomorrow, i have some arctic silver 5 (i think) but the pre applied paste on the intel stock cooler got a little smudged as i applied the cooler, will it matter for one day? (i dont have tim remover to reapply until tomorrow), stock volts/clocks for at least a few days.

5.... well 5 will no doubt come :D ill post some pics later, its nothing amazing by these forums standard but its my first build so im happy. Just got to stick in the 670 + do some cabling (which i will probably be OCD about)

Thanks guys

1) Shouldn't be any missing, Give the board PCB a push backwards towards the rear and get a screw in and started.

2) Never used them, PCB directly on the motherboard risers with a screw in each one.

3) SSD, does it screw from underneath?

Is the I/O shield plate in correctly? it has little bendy metal tabs on it, are these clear of the ports at the back??

IO plate is in correctly as far as i can tell, wasnt too sure how it was supposed to attatch but it stays in place now... ill get pics in a sec i guess, they're all visable but some are slightly off, ive tried unscrewing them all and moving it, but the middle one
x x x
x this x
x x x that isn't a screw, and pops up through the mobo, doesn't let it move much. if anything i think it needs to twist slightly, so ill try removing it and putting it back again, if not ill post pics.

That was what i thought, when i read the holes weren't lining up, i made the same mistake on my first build.
Also all i use to remove paste is kitchen towel and elbow grease (please remove the cpu from mobo first;))
ninja edit.
sometimes the little bendy metal tabs will stop the bits from going through the holes in the IO plate, thus the mobo will not line up with case mounting points
also before mounting any heavy cooler, you will have to have all the top and middle screws in

EDIT: OHH BUGGER... ok i jsut realised what you meant. The IO shield has some sort of foam on the back of it, was i supposed to remove it? i just... squished it in....

If the foam wasnt on it there'd be an extra few mm to twist the mobo, was that my mistake?

In the next pic you can just about see how the screw is off, its 1mm if that... but it doesnt screw in.

The foam you leave.

It squashes.

It sound like the middle pin that supports the board is wrong some how, can you unscrew it and fit a normal riser?

3) SSD, does it screw from underneath?

....... so i've discovered theres holes in the side too.... i can probably take the ssd from here XD

EDIT: no i cant... its a crucial m4. 4 holes on the top, 2 on the sides, if its upside down so screw holes on top correspond to the screw holes in drive caddy, the side bits dont line up with the side holes on the ssd (by 1cm or more)

It only needs to be screwed from underneath/top (if you got it the right way facing up?) you wont need to line the side holes up if you do this.

Obviously ive slid the ssd down a bit, but the bit on the top left of the drive caddy, doesnt allow the holes to line up because the ssd can't be flush with the side of the metal

Edit: Nail bitten thumb ftw. You're welcome >:)

put it in properly, then screw it down?? That should work
EDIT: If that does not work, get some scotch tape
or double sided tape

Line it up, then screw one corner, then the oposite corner, if that does not work, get double sided tape

It wont work, ive decided ill just wait until i get the velcro tomorrow, ill rest it at the bottom of the case until then.

So question... 6? ive got a 4 pin cpu power socket, and a 4 + 4 lead, any reason why i shouldn't be using this? leave 4 of it hanging by the socket?

Also ill need an extension cable for the cpu power, currently running it over the top of gpu just because i want to get it booted today.

Can anyone suggest one?
