How are people onto Hell already? Have you played for over 60 hours or is it a lot faster the second time around?

I've only managed to find 6 hours to play so far

For me, moving the game directory to my solid state fixed the problem.

Don't have an SSD.

Do you have a different PC you can try it on?

I guess I could try it on my brothers... He has an i3, 8GB, 4850... His would probabaly stutter anyway though on the settings I use

Well, once you've seen all the cinematics and know the story you can skip most of the time consuming stuff.

Just gotta kill stuff quickly.

I'm halfway through Hell and nowhere near 60 hours.

Yep agreed totally. Just frustrating as hell for melee!

the guy who replied checkpoint is very very misleading. checkpoints are merely respawn points. everything you do is saved in real time, uploaded to the server- this is why the game requires an online connection. but if you logout in the midde of nowhere, you will log back in at the checkpoint. any items you have found though will still be in your bag, you don't lose everything you had since the last checkpoint.

Does anyone have any figures on the actual data transferred. I've got a friends who's interested, but has a cap on his internet, and he's after some figures on the amounts of data actually transferred.

Already spent on two stash upgrades. If you want to save money though you could make a "mule" character and use its slots to house items.

I have about 130K gold. My stash is full of Rares and I have no more space. My next space upgrade is going to cost 100k.

What i do at the moment is throw out all non magic items and then just take all the magic items and salvage them and i also sell some of them to tradesman as you get more money. non magic items are a waste of inventory space and you only get like 2-6 gold for them.

10k is nothing man, do it, it will be worth it for being able to transfer items between players.
