It was a bit meh, the final fight; having all the evils in him I was expecting to fight them one by one, or something, anything other than stand back and archon blast.

Finding it really easy now I have almost 6k dps. I got very lucky with a weapon crafting:

Insanely high DPS (I've checked the AH, nothing comes close), massive elemental damage, and perfect monk stats.
 
anyone who is a barb, is it worth duel wielding?

adding a second wep puts my dps up bu 0.01.

is this just for extra stats later on?

better to go with shield or 2 hander?

What Passives do you have? As for a monk, you can get 15% dodge from duel wielding, so its pretty damned good. Thats what I would base my choice on.

I'm a Barb, would you say it's worth doing?

I'd just be worried that I'd pile a lot of money in to it and I could just scan the AH and get better items easier that way.

Also I'm level 34 and my DPS is only 381. Is that to low?

I'm having great fun with my barb.

Did die a couple of times - those desert flying things that send poison mini flies are a pain for a barb with a templar follower.

I also died once or twice to massive jobs, then I remembered earthquake xD

Only unleash it when im in a bit of a tight spot due to its recharge time, but it seems to eat through pretty much anything quite easily. Stun + earthquake. Great fun :D

As a side point what followers is everyone using with their relevant characters?

..almost 7k dps. Things are dying more quickly now on Hell than they ever have :p.

Not having played a Barb (other than the Beta), I can't say for certain what your dps should be. Sounds very low to me though.

The blacksmith is massively worth it. I've only just recently started crafting stuff - I just leveled because I'm an achievment whore :p! Two lucky crafts (weapon wise) and look at my dps now...

Holy hell Platypus that's some insane dps. I'm going to carry carry on levelling my blacksmithing, I stopped to save money to buy off the AH but I can barely sell anything at the moment.

Yeah I've sold about ~100ks worth of stuff, bought a few bits but I've just poured everything I've got into the blacksmith.

To the extent the game warned me when I died that repairs are expensive and need a lot of gold :eek:.
