Indeed, was pretty tight there. Really enjoying using the M40 sniper rifle, cant hit squat with it at long range, but it's great on metro with the short-medium ranges encountered there.

Ridiculously close! Was a great game.

Awesome fun with a machine gun had!!!

Picked up a Hazro 27" and 680 today, going to spend the evening glued to the game!

What a coincidence, thinking of getting that combo too! Which version of the monitor did you go for?

I know this has been discussed before.... but.... it really downright cheeses me off getting owned by people with 120+ pings while I'm in the mid/high 30's. I've no idea how their shots are so accurate.

eh? what res is the 27"?

One 680 is PLENTY for any settings at 1920x1200 so unless the 27" is 1600p no sure why you would need more than 1

The performance between 2560x1440 and 2560X1600 is negligible. Performance from the 680 is OK, but forget running loads of AA.

Took me long enough (108 hours in fact) but I made it to level 45 and got the AS VAL I love this gun and was one of my favourites in STALKER too.

Is it the last rank unlock?

yeah I was thinking this yesterday evening when I was playing. It's like were being penalised for paying for better internet.

I was running a single 680 on 1920x1200, but then moved up to 27" @ 2560x1440 and had to get another 680 in order to run it on ultra with 4xmsaa, now runs like a dream.

Speaking of which, does anyone remember the BF2 vid called Mine by Snoken? That was awesome and I still occasionally watch it for nostalgia and a good laugh

Went for the non-glass, couldn't be bothered with the dust-under-the-glass lottery as well as the other potential issues! Apart from the stand, i've not got a bad word to say about the monitor

The 680 is superb as well, clocked up to 1265mhz/7000mhz and it's running perfectly! Minus msaa.

Agreed, its total and utter mayhem. Though on other modes, it's a pretty good map. Even though i played it so much in the alpha/beta, i actually dont mind it.

Are there any sites that tell you about the overall BF3 player numbers.

I have ~130 persons on my contact list for BF3 yet less than 10 are ever actually online or playing at any one time. Which for a big title such as this is pretty shameful.

No I haven't played the game since Dec 2011 either.

No I haven't played the game since Dec 2011 either.

If 10 in 130 are playing at one time, that means on average people are spending 1/13th of their time on BF3. Seems pretty decent to me.

i hate people how cant understand that for the co-op drop 'em like liquid mission you only shoot at the targets that are marked by the big red box.

Once i can understand maybe it was an accident but 3 times the term ******* retard comes to mind
