get a list of all the stores near you and just ring them, saves time and petrol

Debating buying this game (provided I can find it in stock), is it a fairly simple game to get into? I've never touched a Blizzard game before but D3 has caught my eye :)
 
Yeah, pgi, I was in the same situation as you. It's easy to get into, and the story line is pretty good as well even if you haven't seen the past ones. Just make sure you watch the installer as that'll give you some info on the background and lore. Most of it will start to make sense as you play through the game. I'd take your time with Normal mode, just so you get to know what's going on, hear the story etc..

All I can find so far is people trying to cash in on the shortage by charging £50+ for a key. Even those shady russian 'key' places don't have stock atm lol.

Yeah i bought mine from play.com in april for £35, just went to check prices again and gone up to £50 now, i blame blizzard for selling for £45 :P
 
I'm going to try Sainsburys, Asda and Tesco have sold out, but my local Sainsburys is full of old women showing off their badge of honor (an M&S bag :p). So I'm hopeful the local pensioners don't have a Diablo fetish :p

can't really say it like that tbh. no-one has completed it yet. sure some people have finished the story on normal mode but that is by no means completing diablo. normal mode is the tutorial for the rest of the game.
 
Been reading the Diablo forums a bit. Tonnes of people complaining about the lack of loot on NM, specifically rare items. Is this true or do they need just higher MF?

Also is there a way to show party damage? I'd like to know how much damage I'm inflicting comparable to my party members.

Jesus Christ, is it grumpy SoB day on OcUK or something? That's the second time this morning a perfectly acceptable thread has been soured by negative, unhelpful posting. If anyone deserves a :rolleyes: it's you miserable lot.

You may not like seeing all these D3 threads, but no-one is forcing you to read them, and let's face it the smaller threads will die of their own accord in a few days anyway - if you haven't got anything constructive to say in response to the question being asked, then stay out and let those happy to discuss do so without you lot whingeing :mad:

EDIT: Ah, it's been merged anyway ... fair enough
