really , have a look in Tristram Woods act 1 theres an event you can farm doing this on nightmare for an easy 60k an hour and all the yellows that drop :D one of many ways to farm in D3

Please elaborate. I'm in the woods now so I'd be able to give this a try on nightmare difficulty.

Has anyone tried a DH without a primary (hatred generating) skill?

My Hatred Regen is 9.25 atm (thanks to Bat Companion, equipment and the Templar) and it seems to be more than enough to handle Elemental Arrow (Frost Arrow)/Multishot (Fire At Will) as primary/secondary and the odd bit of Spike Trapping.

I use Bola Shot with Acid Strike for pwnage, and Impale with Overpenetration for insane damage.

Acid Strike is tempting for when I hit that level. I did use Bola Shot w/ Volatile Explosives for a time but I found (at least in Act 3 Normal) that rarely used it so stopped using it as a primary.

I do kinda have 1 spare slot though atm. Fan of Knives is nice but I've rarely needed to use it. Was thinking of Smoke Screen instead if things start to get difficult.

Completed the starter edition as a barb and then caved and bought the complete game. But i restarted as a Monk and am having loads more fun now. Will complete it on normal then hopefully a few of my mates will also have it for co-op goodness.

my hatred regen is too slow and I end up having to wait with no attack.

How can you have no attack when your primary skills all generate hatred not cost it?

Make sure you're using the best quality potions you can. I stupidly did it using Minors on my first attempt and that didn't end well. And simply focusing on dodging his fireball spam is probably safer than trying to do damage as thats where you're more likely to die.

I do find Belial the toughest.

Has anyone noticed this game has huge hit boxes? You can avoid stuff by quite a bit and it will still hurt you, Belial's green circles being the perfect example.

Yeah, quite a few things do seem to.

Man i hate some champion packs, started my second character last night and played it for a few hours today, not long ago finished normal mode on him and started nightmare.

So mich easier soloing with a barb, might have something to do with i have all his sockets gemmed for vitality, but mainly it's due to the sheer cheesiness of the bash - stun rune, i can see it getting nerfed sometime soon.

Yea I struggled too (with wiz), got him down after a few tries. I wasn't dodging the green stuff enough.

Funnily enough I have literally just beaten him on Normal as WD, died twice, then modified my skills a bit and took him down the next time.

Was a bit disappointed when I first saw him as he looked a bit like a poor man's Mephisto, but when he changes it looks fantastic and a worthy boss fight :)
