Well that surprised me. A run I didn't feel terribly confident in, ended up with me beating my 10km time and beat my brother! 49:38minutes earns me a free Nando's today :D

Just as a side note, you can eat raw sweet potatoes. They're not like normal potatoes in that regard. They taste sort of carrot-y, and are good for little snacks here in there. Otherwise, for something hot quick and easy I just microwave them whole, mash them up and eat with food. Not sure on how to roast them, my wife usually does the actual cooking. :p

i need to eat mine at work (not microwave), the mircowaving and mashing might be an easy option if i do it the evening before :)

wanted to give wedges a try and see how they taste! new steedie diet as of tomorrow, going out shopping to get the ingredients shortly.

Also can anyone suggest a good oil to have on my food, when it comes to things like this i am pretty new!

Asda are doing 1kg of sweet potato for £1. Just got mine today. Wedges do sound nice but mash is damn nice too.

Bloody right shoulder has started giving me difficulties. :(

Sort of "not clicking" and some pain in rotation. Scary stuff, making me reconsider some things. Not worth destroying myself over!

yeah its pollock, they didnt have the 1kg bags left, this stuff is 360g per pack, and is in 4 blocks in each pack. 2 blocks per portion and works out to £4.12 per week instead of £4 so i thought i would give it a go :)

The frozen pollock isn't too bad. It's just not something I can eat long term and the quantities I needed to eat were a lot to hit some meaningful macros. I think I baked 270g of frozen pollock to get 200g cooked, which worked out as 198 cals.

For the new diet it isnt a staple, its just about using it to get a different source of protein, and some different fats as well, from what i can work out.

i will see how it goes, but i can always suppliement it with whatever has been cooked for dinner for the kids ;)
