I have been using this 'space' too :D

but I didn't know you could just cancel straight away, didn't think to do that! :o but I have been doing this to clear 'junk' yellow items out of stash and hope to get a little gold from a sale but nothing has sold yet :(

I dont like to scrap items that may have value to others, I have been giving away old items to people on my friends list who join my game

Characters from a guest pass can be carried over to a full game upgrade.

Guests pass... I wouldn't be surprised if beta progress/character was wiped...

My character maintained level 10, but I was forced to start the game from the beginning.

ah right, after you smash the SK it resets your quest log on a guest pass, but you can (from the character screen) just select that final act and replay just the Skeleton King dungeon to progress.
 
While, I'm not against the online thing. I of course understand it's DRM first and formost, but I think there are some good aspects too. I think that an 'offline mode' should be something that's patched in as soon as possible to avoid situations like this, of course the game 'could' have shipped with an offline mode too.

How exactly can you have an offline mode when everything is stored online?

Seriously think. The reason it's online is to stop hacking/duping. It can't be offline.

Didn't do that to me, killed Skel King, exited the game, went online to buy it an hour later and my Barb is still in that dungeon I think. I went on to make a Monk anyway which I'm finding more fun.

Edit: Andybtsn, I think he was trying to be clever. :rolleyes:

I understand this. I just think that they should have had an 'offline' option, where you can have an offline character. Obviously you couldn't use it online.
