You and your friend could spend infinte evenings playing this game together. It's the start of a beautiful bromance.

This evenings play then he goes Ibiza for a week (i'm just back from Greece or ofc) during which time there's a £18 cheaper copy arriving in the post. Will still be happening but a guest pass to last the evening then he can convert would be handy

They have a clause stating that Hardcore characters will not be revived, no matter what.

Having another quick look at barb skills makes me wanna make one lol.
At least he's got option to go either tank or insane dps.

I thought the 42% extra damage I can get on wizard by turning into a glass cannon is a lot but LOL at the barb:

- Fury 5 stacks with rune = 75% atk speed + 20% damage
- Battle rage with rune = +30% damage +3% crit
- Passive berserker rage = +25% dmg while at max fury
- Weapon master - say mace/axe 10% crit chance
- Passive brawler - when there are at least 3 enemies = +30% damage

Total = 75% atk speed, 13% crit chance, 105% damage

Now if you activate Wrath of the Berserker with Insanity rune for the next 15 sec u have:
+205% damage
+100% atk speed
+23% chance to crit
+20% dodge
+20% movement speed

That's some crazy stuff...
Now if you top that up with runed call of the Ancients they do another 66%x3
so 198% of ur wep dmg. That's a pocket wizard and DH nuking the heck out of ur target for 15s .... No wonder he killed inferno butcher in 20s lol...

Nothing, you've lost your character, end of story.

To be honest though, if the servers went down without warning, I think they might do a 1 minute or so rollback on hardcore, otherwise people would be mad.

At a guess, nothing. They have flatly stated customer support will never ressurect a dead hardcore character under any circumstance.

Besides, how would a server dc kill you? If the server died it wouldn't have any record of your death.

How do I change to the USA Servers to get some play time in? This downtime is annoying me greatly...ran out of new films to watch and the corp in the middle of a 2000 Man war on EVE (we have 43 people)...

The rate at which that thread grows is insane! I refresh and then there's about 10 new pages.

To be honest, even though I've only had one error so far besides the downtime today, this was a pretty shambolic release for such a big game.

This game looks like it can be played with an xbox controller. Do any of you play this with one or keyboard and mouse the only way or easier?

I haven't seen anyone answer this yet, but I am interested to know if this plays well with a controller as my PC is hooked up to a TV mainly as a HTPC.
