I haven't seen anyone answer this yet, but I am interested to know if this plays well with a controller as my PC is hooked up to a TV mainly as a HTPC.

Yup, I'm very disappointed it all this.

This reminds me of Bioware with TOR on terrible EU maintenence times and no ETA's.

Quite serious. I just want to know if it plays well with a controller. No one have answered this question yet. Googling have given mix responses with some people saying you CANNOT use a controller for D3.
