Girlfriend and both her parents on three and they haven't had any trouble on them for phones. I use a tmobile broadband dongle and it's not as good as my friends three dongle where I am. The Internet is the main reason I'm going to three.

Yeah, if I had to pick right now, I'd provisionally look at getting the S3 over the One X provided I like it when I try it.

Still, I don't think I'll be impressed enough to swap it, but we'll see!
 
I don't know if I want a flip case but the Samsung one does look good...Will have to see it in person though I think so hoping CPW have them in stock so I can walk upsatirs from work to check one out.

Makes docking a bit tedious, do not want.

Overall, we'd give excellent marks to the Galaxy S III on the build quality and perhaps a B+ on looks. The exceptional screen is the real star of the show though, no doubt about that.

They usually do that.

The One X review:

  • No microSD card slot, no alternative options in terms of storage - fair enough
  • MicroSIM support only - like the S3... what?
  • Incapable of 3G video calls without a 3rd party app - really?!
  • No dedicated camera key - Hm.
  • Non-user-accessible battery - reasonably fair.
  • Uninspiring image and video quality, video framing is tricky - should just be video

Bar the first point, i dont think that has been emphasised enough!

How are people ordering from 3 with TCB? From what i can see its not available on their site until 29th and you have to preorder through the store?

What is annoying is that if you click on the photos on gsmarena. The second to last picture makes the phone look pretty awesome. But unfortunately thats just a flattering angle and all other pics look horrendous.

Why oh why couldnt samsung just make a matte black or even a glossy black phone :<

Still gonna be my new phone unless sony come out with details of the mint beforehand.

The vibration notification editor seems pretty damn handy. So now we have LED notification light AND custom vibration alerts for whatever we want. What more could be required to satisfy all?? :D

There appears to be a truck load of under the bonnet features Samsung didn't even hint at in the release event.
 
I'm with 3 purely for the Internet. Coverage is pretty dire round here, 70% of my 30 mile trip to work isn't covered.
But it's the only network I can get Hsdpa at my house. Even tho I get no signal downstairs!

I even have a contact with O2 but don't use it as I only get gprs at home

All the mins and texts I could want for 15 per month with true unlimited Internet.

Used 19 gb this month already
