Which hard drive should i get?

Don't want to spend more than £80 so these are my options.

The seagate (ST1000DM003) (one from the bottom) is the fastest by far out of those lot.

And since they all have the same length warranty I'd personally go for that one.

I would go for the WD Blue myself. That's just a personal choice as I have always used WD drives and found them to be both quiet and reliable.

I'd also go for the WD drive. They are excellent prices of kit, and their support process is brilliant.

ok ill probably go for the WD blue, i have a 500gb Seagate now that i am going to use just for games. What's the difference between the Blue and Green WD drives?

Green is the Eco Drive, Black is performance and IIRC the blue sits in between.

Indeed, so the green will in theory be quieter and consume less power but be slower, and the blue will be a little louder and faster.

For personal interest what's the cost of a WD 1tb black and how much louder is it? Do WD drives kick out much heat?
