Are mobilephonesdirect any good?

They have the S3 for £26 per month for 24 months, free handset. Include the £30 quidco cashback and it works out you pay £594 for the phone in total over 2 years. The contract is not that great (100 mins, 500 txt, 250mb) so only really for someone who wants the phone but doesn't like to fork out £500+ in one go.

Any better deals out there?

They're fine in my experience, yeah.
 
Just been to the samsung store in stratford, they didn't have a demo SGS3 :(
I asked the rep about pricing and he goes the first 150 people will get it for 499 after that the price will go up to 549 !
 
If they don't have a dmeo model then how did the guy earlier get to demo one in store?

What?!
 
And I sent an uncle to Westfield today to go check it out...LOL no wonder he's not replied to my text yet, too mad and butthurt at a wasted journey :p
 
Well, I sent my S2 off to O2 recycling today and cancelled my Vodafone contract.
Now I have no mobile for 9 days.
Feel like my right arm has been cut off lol.
Sure it will be worth the wait, how slow is 9 days going to go.
 
Gave in and ordered the 64GB microSDXC card - now to find a stonking deal on the SIII. Trying to wangle my sisters SIII upgrade for 300 beans :D

I assume PowerAmp is the best music software?

To note, my music is untagged, I'm old skool and name all songs properly and have a structure in the album (Genre > Letter (abcdefg etc) > Artist [Album] - ## - Title.mp3/flac). I use WinAMP on my PC and that manages the library perfectly so am looking for a layout just like that!

Yep definitely the best one i have found. You do get a trial period before it asks you to pay...think its 7 or 14 days...i didnt bother with the trial, i just paid up fully for it and have been loving it for the past few days since i have had it.

Not sure about your music, mine is tagged as Artist-Song-Genre with the album art all embedded into the file. Poweramp has kept it the same, there are a few settings within poweramp that you can mess around with regarding tags and folders.

That's what I was told when I was there on Saturday, only I had a real working phone to play with. I'm still standing by what I said, I'm not going to get one.
