I always thought OcUK didn't allow openly talking about piracy but hey-ho... Quickshot deserves a ban for trying to post something about the unaired UK episode and knowing it may be a spoiler hence the use of spoiler tags.

Spoiler tags should not have to be used in this thread given that the title says [NO SPOILERS]. If any poster feels that what they are about to say may need spoiler tags then they should think again about posting it.

I hope it's good, haven't been hugely impressed with this second series so far.
It has it's moments, but dearly needs more exposition regarding the characters and events, an extra 2 episodes would really help I feel.

I have enjoyed this series but it hasn't 'grabbed' me like S1 did, perhaps it is because I am watching several other shows. Can't wait for the last few episodes though.

Is the second book good? This series so far has been good simply because of the setting and the characters and the plot being further built but it's not as good as season 1.

I'm currently reading the 1st book and it's really helping with me putting names to characters and also understanding the families and how they work and I can do this without fear of getting a spoiler which is very likely when you try to do any background reading on the web. Also the book has it merits to say the least
He stopped then, and drew her down onto his lap. Dany was flushed and breathless, her heart fluttering in her chest. He cupped her face in his huge hands and she looked into his eyes. "No?" he said, and she knew it was a question. She took his hand and moved it down to the wetness between her thighs. "Yes," she wispered as she put his finger inside her.

That image from the book and the image of Dany from the TV show. OH MY!

Really?
I thought it was actually rather good

Stannis is growing on me, Davos is brilliant, Joffrey is a stuck up little prat, Tyrion is fantastic and Varys is very good. The only annoying thing is Jayne, why did they have to completely change her, surely the didn't need to?

The c word getting no end of use in this episode

Yeah, I'm not sure if it was the actors that did it but it just felt out of place. Anyone who's read the books say if it felt out of place in text or not.

Also I took great joy at seeing Cersei think she had the upperhand even though she's getting trolled.

Really liked it. Last two episodes should hopefully see all the build up pay off.

As for changing jayne, well why not tbh? Not like she's that important in the book. Their romance is bit more believable like this where it's been given a little time to develop. imo of course ;)

Can't really say too much more than that tho without spoilers.

Or they could have just built up the relationship and fleshed it out in the series rather than making up someone completely randomly.

DO NOT READ THE SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS!!!! IT'S VAGUE BUT HINTS AT THINGS. Now don't say I didn't warn you :p
no spoilers

A random camp follower compared to a Lord's daughter.

Anyway their relationship was perfectly believable in the books

As for not important in the books?! She's a major catalyst for events to come.
