This is the build I'm running my Demon Hunter with through Hell at the moment:

Relies on keeping SS up (else: death), using traps wherever possible and spamming Bola/Lightning Ball at all other times to keep steady damage and Hatred regen up. Pop Rain whenever you can, and Glyph Prep: Battle Scars for when it all goes wrong (Punishment or Invigoration is probably a better DPS rune, but I cant say I've needed it over an insta 60% heal!). Haven't experimented much with the Passives yet, so no doubt room to improve there.

Loving Demon Hunter!

Sorry to be moaning about the stuttering again but it's pretty bad again for me right now. :(

Aghhh I need to learn to ignore it.

When I said earlier about plugging directly in, I meant, disconnect the router and plug straight into the modem. Can help determine if it the router blocking something.

at the end of the day, I've been playing in public games since the day after launch, on EU and US servers and haven't been hacked. I went from halfway into A1 to start of A4 in one session with my game open to the public, where about 40 odd players came and went. If it were as simple as the theories are suggesting it is, I'm certain my account would have been hacked.

Alternatively, a large amount of people got scammed, maybe pre-beta, signing up to some fansite or another that was happily storing the registered passwords and emails and hoping their bnet details were the same, and then trying them all in one afternoon.

Nobody really knows for sure. The only thing for certain is that it must be a complex method of breaking security, as nobody has any idea how people are gaining access.

In terms of security relating my account:

- I use a 16 character password made of random numbers and upper/lower letters;
- Different passwords for all my logins;
- Signed up to the Android authenticator;
- SMS alerts enabled;
- Never posted on the D3 forums or the like;
- Only ever played with friends (never made my game public).

I don't think you can get much more secure than that. If I get hacked then anyone can.

Has anyone else spent 100k on the extra storage slots?

I really could do with the extra slots however I just don't know if I can justify 100k for them.

No I just sell all my items to the merchant apart from any that might be worth a good amount in the AH.

I will later on in the game when money isn't so much of an issue

Feeling the same way. I have no idea how people can stomach doing the same content again, knowing that nothing new will be added to the game for years. I know you do pretty much the same in MMOs when re-running instances, but it's just boring in Diablo. I think I play just because it's like an 'on the rails' thing to do whilst on Teamspeak with friends.

It's Diablo...

:rolleyes:

This is exactly my point. Nobody knows for sure, yet they're actively pushing this single theory and claiming blizzard blues are lying, with absolutely no proof (not even an descriptive theoretical proof) of the theory they are claiming to be true.

Not aiming this at you, you seem to agree with me here. Just getting annoyed at the amount of **** going around pushing this session jacking theory (which, if valid, could be fixed by blizzard in about 2 minutes)

Yes, i maxed out the storage for first slot, and currently coming close to second, had so many drops (not any particularly good ones, but they would still sell for a few thousand g each) just a shame that there is a limit of ten auctions.

The only rares I tend to keep are ones that could be useful for the other builds I may have. If I don't keep them then I salvage them at the Blacksmith. Haven't bothered with the AH yet, haven't really felt the need to yet, however things may change once I start on Nightmare tonight with the WD.

this is getting so annoying now!, I've attempted diablo in hell too many times, every single time we have a group of 4, we clear everything up to diablo including 5 stacks of neph, which takes around 30minutes, then people leave outside diablo's door? then no one can join our group, so now i have to rinse and repeat all what i have done for the 11th or 12th time, soul destroying.

Dieing a few times to a a champion pack atm, jailer pagued arcane enchanted - hell difficulty.

Proper pain in the ass.

Oh now a second champion pack appears from nowhere, walling, molten arcane enchanted - ffs

'For now Blizzard's response to those that have been hacked has been to offer a limited rollback, meaning some gameplay is lost but items and gold are restored. However, it added the caveat that if that player's account is hacked again, then they will be permanently banned from the real money auction house.

Despite this being no fault of the user'

tut tut tut blizzard...

I suppose only time will tell weather it's blizzards 'fault' or the irresponsibility of users, but for the time being imo Blizzard are a bunch of arrogant stuck up twits...although i'll still bye Diablo 3 since I want to play it :P
