***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Within the last 4 pages of this thread someone gave the times the reps with phones are there, iirc 2pm till 4pm as i say iirc so check yourselves.

Correct - just got off the phone to Westfield - rep guys are in on Saturday with demo units - 1200-1600 Saturday.

that was me :p

but at Westfield Stratford Flagship store.

I'm guessing the pop-up store at white city should be there all day everyday.

sunny007 - let us all know :)

The tweaks and additional customisations for efficiency and performance just keep being found :p

I'm am very impressed with the battery life from the reviews. Will definitely love to use my own real life testing to find out if it truly lasts long enough for me.

My 'heavy usage out all day and far away' stats:

7 am - 12 midnight. 30-60mins GPS/Google Maps/Satnav. 6-8 hrs screen on 50% brightness. Includes 4 hrs video. 2 hours web. Data and Active Sync constant on. GPS when needed.

Reckon I can make it? Yeah, I suspect I'll need an extended battery too.

But I'm certain my 'moderate' usage will be absolutely fine:

7 am - 7 pm. 4-6 hrs screen on 50% brightness. Includes 2 hrs video. 2 hours web. Data, Active Sync and GPS (weather app) constant on.

I don't think your going to get 6 hours screen time when your out. Could be possible if you switch to airplane mode.

Just been to the local vodafone shop with my m8 who wants a new phone because I told him I had ordered a S3.

He asked what the difference is between 2 similar Samsungs phones and the assistant replied "one has a faster processer so it can download faster"........

Gave us something to talk about on the way back to work ;)

“Perfect” for the GS3 in that post is misleading. The “perfect” card for the S3 is a 64GB SDXC card, not a 32GB class 4 SDHC.

But at that price I’ll let it slide for now :p

Just purchased mine :D

If you are getting an s3 wouldn't you want a class 10 card or does it not matter that much?

I do realise that £13 is very cheap but since you are paying a lot for an expensive phone anyway :p

Depends on the brand of the card. I’ve had LG and Sandisk Class 4 and 6 cards before as well as Class 2 Sandisk Mobile Ultra and found the LG class 6 to perform less than Sandisk Class 4 (normal) but the Class 2 Mobile Ultra matched up to the Class 6 transfer speed wise.

Class is just the minimum speed remember, good brand ones will perform well above the minimum.

No selling outside of MM!

I am exempt :p

it doesn't really matter that much, it may make a difference on high res video or something but I doubt it will make any difference on music or pictures
