Well the Legendary items I'm equipped with are from the Auction House.

These items cost anything from 1k-20k depending on whether or not they have a buyout or your lucky enough to see them as the auction runs out.

Most of the other gear I have are similar or yellow rare's which I usually look for tons of +STR then +VIT. The weapons don't generally have fantastic stats but DPS is all I need.

I was wondering about how damage reduction works.
My damage reduction by armor is around 53%
All my resistances (physical, fire, arcane etc) are also 53%.

I am using a passive skill to increase my armor from 45% to 53%

So I have armor that mitigates 53% and I have all resistances including physical that mitigates 53%.

Am I waiting passive skill slot by increasing armor, is armor completely useless to me seen as my magic/physical resistance is higher than my normal armor mitigation?

Edit: googling I find people say that armor and resistance are multiplicative so first it reduces it by 53% then reduces the rest by next 53%.

I have the same :(

am not on virgin media tho (on enta adsl)
just died on normal mode where the game just lagged and my character stood there like a lemon taking damage :rolleyes:

seems like the game is 2 seconds behind, click to move then 2 seconds later it responds, but the ping meter thing in bottom shows green at 180ms :confused:
 
So I finally dinged 60 today, after my auction house exploits yesterday I found I had more then enough to just outright buy myself a pretty good inferno set, I'm sitting at 36,000hp and 18,200dps... I don't think I would be anywhere near to as geared if I had just played the farming game.

I'v also got some pretty desirable defensive stats mainly consisting of 'All Resistance' items which brings me to 43% damage reduction, and I still had 2,000,000 gold left even after my spending spree!

Anyone up to Act 2 NM by the part just after you get Zoltuns head? Me and another guy from here are looking for a couple more players. :)

Love my wizard it makes NM very easy especially boss takedowns which are stupidly fast. Glad I played through a second time with a different class.
