iRacing

It will be in the shedule still I think but may not be the season opener...

Next season it should be the boot layout aswell, which is much better imo...

The rookie track is looking like it will be okynawa..

Still need to get out and practice Zandy, been a busy week so far including a 12.5 hour day yesterday...

Hopefully get some time for practice this evening, no racing today though

So for the radical, I've said we should have mid ohio in and use daytona as the roval track and try get sebring in the mix somewhere..

Any other tracks you lot like to see in the rotation that I can put forward???

Also were thinking of dropping watkins as the opener...

I like the idea of Mid-Ohio, and don't mind Daytona roval, I also like the idea of Watkins Glen boot rather than cup and not fussed when it is really :p

Just going through the tracks page quickly:
Barber has some nice layouts
Homestead roval isn't too bad, but not really used anywhere else on the road side
New Hampshire has another good roval, bit tight maybe?
Summit Point can be good, and a free one but think it's already on there for next season?
Motegi?
VIR :p Maybe one of the smaller courses, bit of a fan of the South layout and cuts out most of the nasty bits of Grand East...

The rest we either already go to or are being discussed :)

Nice 1 josh ill put it forward, think new hampshire roval is in the mix as peeps seem to like that tho I've never run there before.

Barber is in this season and I've also never run there.

Motegi has been ruled out full stop till some testing has been done there on different layouts, I liked the quick few laps I did round the full circuit.

Infineon has been mentoned to replace barber next sesaon aswell...

Only done a few laps of Motegi like you, but seemed interesting, not a fantastic circuit but some long straights/slow corners could lead to some interesting racing, we'll see.

Please no Infineon, terrible place :p

I've only run a few laps there aswell, so I can't really make the call on that 1, but I've said replace it with sebring..

Also peeps are wanting to drop zandy from the core track rotation and put road atlanta in its place, which I agree with, I like zandy but its tricky and there's not much grip so put peeps off were as atlanta brings a lot of yanks in as it has a good fan base...

Speaking of zandy seems I'm a fair way off the pace from the few laps I did last night peeps are in the mid to low 32's I reckon I could so a low 33 but that would be it, so my race pace wouldn't be very good, I did stuggle there last season a lot so I guess its still a good improvement for me...

I like Watkins Glen.

Plus I've just spent over £50 on some of the tracks in the current Radical season in preparation for promotion from D class.

your not the only one the idiot I brought $105 worth of tracks the other day on his advice, then he decided to change the schedule :P

btw make sure the free tracks summit point or whatever its called the long version. Or the oaky long circuit. LRP is Terrible with the Radical, couldnt think of a worse track.
If your going to change th schedule so much get it out there please so people like me can see all the changes and see if its worth hanging around in the radical.
If I end up with about 2 tracks on the schedule then I'm off with this great weather we have at the mo theres no way im spending any more cash on I-racing. *well the BTCC is a day one buy* Ill let that slip.

But Im coming up to about $170 spent now, I want a new Helicopter G how can I buy that with all these track changes and new cars :(

Edit also do what I said the other day G make sure they use the best layouts of each of the tracks its no good having a great track like road Atlanta and then use the short version :( talk about fail. I like the way your the voice of the common folk G :D

Im sure if this radical team had a choice they would use SPA and drop en rouge from it :D use Suzuka but lets drop the spoons s's and take out 130r. So glad your on there now G also lol at otehrs calling you G now

Its not me changing the tracks, it get decided by 6 of us.

It happens every 2 seasons, every series does it, it keeps the core tracks like oulton spa silverstone mosport and the glenn then the rest get rotated its the way it works...

So you would have to deal with this no matter what series you run, I just happen to be on the commitee for the rad so your in a better position than most iracers...

Were only on week 4 now ffs there's still 8 weeks left in this season so I don't know why your moaning at me...

Both sp and okyanwa will be long versions...

On a serious note heres my list

1.Spa
2.oulten park
3.brands hatch
4.silverstone
5.suzuka.
6.mid ohio *I don't own it but one track I would buy*
7.Oaky long or summit peak long
8.Mosport *finally get to the 1:13's then I have to miss the rest of the week :(*
9.Road Atlanta long
10. Sebring *Another track I wouldn't mind buying*
11. ZOLDER if its built intime
12. Oran Park Raceway *if its finished in time*

Why do we have to have ovals whats that all about ? Drop all the oval tracks I have no Idea why every series as to have ovals in there.

You miss out on a couple of very good Rovals if you get rid of them all. I'm pretty sure the Radical doesn't run on the actual oval, but on the road course, so no reason to throw them all away. They should be used more I think.

Did i read before about a bug or something where everytime someoone started iracing their brake sensitivity was messed up and they had to recalibrate their pedals every time ? as i am sure that is happening to me atm, with brakes getting fully locked at the slightest touch.
and if my memory served me right they were advised to delete some config file

might have to give iracing a wide birth soon, gaffer told me and my mate its our last day on site tomorrow, so need to find another job asap or wont be able to afford to run the pc as much...

yer that was me, and thats the problem I have brake locking at 100%, with the slightest touch, it happens to me on a G25 it happens to all 3 clutch brake and throttle, all I do first time of loading the game for the day, go to options so you can see the wheel and pedal indicator press all three in one by one clutch brake throttle and depress them all slowly so Iracing can read the travel.

All is good then till I restart my pc, Ive got Iracing set as an application so I just leave open if im going to be playing but even if i close the app the calibration saves till I restart the pc.

Its no issue really something I can live with.
