Just hit 60 on my Barb. Hes only got about 35k HP but hes doing about 7.5k DPS currently. Just need to do Act4 now and then its Inferno time!
 
I spent 2000 gold on some gloves in the AH, got an error saying it timed out yet my gold was gone and I never got the gloves...bit annoyed but I imagine if that happened to somebody spending 200,000 instead =/

When I first got my Wizard to Inferno it was extremely difficult, had about 20k HP and 9k DPS... needless to say I got rolled, a lot. You just need to farm, get upgrades or money to buy upgrades and get yourself progressing. If something too hard comes up you need to rethink how you're taking it on. My gear is decent, about 37k DPS 40k HP in DPS mode with Glass Cannon and Magic Weapon, but I'm extremely squishy. Tank stats are what I used for Act 2 as I posted before.

I don't really have a set bunch of spells I use, I use quite a few.

Ye that's some sick gear u've got, :p.

I've had ~50-55hrs on my wiz, my barb got to inferno at 30hrs and straight away with low lvl items already did sooo much better.
Whole game just seemed so much easier, with wiz even on nightmare the odd champ pack with stupid options would set me back 30min trying to kill sometimes, like the teleporting big guys with swords in act3 with shielding and mortar. With barb just pop wrath of berserker, feel no pain and they die in 5seconds, its ridiculous. Same with bosses they just melt in seconds.

Finished 1st act inferno on barb with 0 problems, felt like playing normal apart from 1 champ pack that had just worse set of skills ever but cant do much in act2. But then I only just got there and have hardly any gear.

Glad you're enjoying your Barb, if I remember right from your earlier posts in the thread a few days back you really weren't happy with your Wizard.

Hehe. I bought it on day of release through blizzard though I've only had 60hrs so far (I think). Barb on 40 NM A4, Wiz on 32 NM A1, Monk on 43 NM A3.

Fun so far, playing on US server though - starting to regret it now. They're all asleep when I'm gaming dammit :D.
 
I just had to update my game within the last half an hour. Just managed to down Belial on Hell, it's a massive lottery in P3 that you don't get unlucky with the green stuff.

I know that people have been complaining about the servers struggling, and saying that Blizzard should expect it....

But should they?

Whilst, yes, they did have over 2m Pre-orders, it is the fastest selling PC game in history. So even if they planned maximum load at the same level as previous best selling PC games in history, they'd be underexpecting... In a week alone it's hit over half the sales of SC2...

Says a lot really...

I just find it stupid that they give wizard abilities to kite/cc which doesnt work at all in inferno. The only tactic that got me through hell was spamming hydra and running around/dodging stuff but on inferno u cant do that anymore. Will probably need to spend 1mil on items just to be able to farm hell effectively without dying.

Whats ur battletag ?

I have had no lags, dc or problems with logging in apart from the first 3-4 days. Might have a lot more to do with the servers on the way to blizzard rather than actual blizzard, people that dont know networking dont realise that there can be problems on the way rather than the actual server itself. Played with 2 friends and 1 also never had a single problem while other one has plenty of lag. Usually clearing DNS solves it tho.
