After rewatching the latest episode I noticed Tywin ordered Gligaine (the mountain?) to "hunt down the brotherhood"

While not asking for any spoilers about it does this have any significance? as that torturer the tickler was asking prisoners the same question. At first I thought he was just asking that knowing no one would know the answer to it as he made it up but with Tywin saying the same I wondered if there was more to it. I have not read the books so don't know anything more than the TV show :)

It's really annoying this; any other show and we could speculate on it and google search for other peoples opinions. With this half the viewers know the answers from the books lol.

Gregor Clegane is the mountain and yes the brotherhood without banners will be seen next year if they stick to the book.

The Brotherhood is introduced in a similar way in the book iirc, initially just mentions by other people without much explanation. They do get get explained though

I'm currently reading the 1st book and there is referenced to Qarth and all sorts that I never saw in season 1. It's very interesting and I can only assume GMartin has a good idea of how the full plot goes which is reassuring.

I want the old gregor back, this new one I reckon I could take down.
The old one I wouldn't have dared look in his direction.
He isn't remotely a mountain.

Westeros I am dissapoint.

Not their fault, he was filming the hobbit. I think the other Gregor was awesome too.

watched season 1 again yesterday in a marathon and found it so much better than season 2 has been.

season 1 = perfect pace
season 2 = to hectic and rushed
i guess season 3 is going to be even worse unless they extend it to 20 episodes or something

Series 3 is going to be split into two, i seem to remember. Like the books.

I think it's supposed to feel hectic, because it is hectic. In Series 1 Westeros was strained, but politically stable. In Series 2 everything you thought you knew is thrown out the window and it's all out turmoil. The characters themselves can barely keep up, and since you see it from their perspectives... the world doesn't care about how well you can keep on top of things, if anything it makes it feel more realistic.

I totally agree, they need probably 2 extra episodes for some more exposition from the characters.
They're trying to fit too much into too short a time frame.

I see your point about series 2 and while I agree to a point, I don't think that is what's going on intentionally.

They should have left Gregor out of season 2 rather than replace him. Still is a disservice to the fans that he left the role after making the commitment. It's not like he didn't know how long the role would last.

I will let Greatjon off for that though, White Van Man was brilliant.

I'm half way through GoT, is it ever revealed in the books that Mya Stone is Robert's *******? Because i had an inkling, and according to the wiki (risky, i know) she is...
