As has been said, best bet is to cut a bit of food down, or add in some extra cardio if you don't already do any.

Mind you, if Steedie see's your diet he'll tell you to re-do it :p
 

I posted a video before but it didn't show very good angles so I got another one which is some what better. How is my form? It looks kind of OK to me but I am never sure. Was harder than usual due to a bit of a bad hip from kick boxing in the week :(
 
I was using a small bit of wood to put heels on to see if I could improve the drive through the heels. I will consider losing the trainers, thanks :)

I know a lot of people say to do this...But personally I wouldn't unless you have a real problem. I was going to say are you on tip toes or something? :p
 
Ah cool, that explains why your heels seemed like they were coming up.
In that case have a look in icecolds mobility thread to see what you can do about that :)

Apart from the ankle issue, everything else that I can see from that angle looks ok. I can't see you're stance or what your knees are doing though, which I'd need a view from the back for.
 
It only happens on 2 of the reps, so it isn't too bad.

Everything will change when he removes the wood and the heel from his trainers, so it's almost pointless giving extra critique on that set.
 
It's good that you're catching these things! But it is possible to be too anal about these things. That minor level of tuck is more a product of control and awareness, and as I said a lot will change without the assisted ankle ROM.

That was the first time I used a bit of wood, was purely an experiment to see how different if anything it made it. So I won't be going back to that.

Ok so with the neck don't look up with head but with eyes, pull head back like a double chin to keep the spine in place. When I squat I tend to look at one of the lines in the ceiling so I assume this is why it is doing that? I am looking up with my head instead of with just my eyes.
 
I can't help noticing that for the recommended videos associated with the first one at least half seem to be of girls and are hair related. Is that really what curlz get the gurlz means? :o

Back to the gym today for the first time in a couple of weeks - exams/a cold prevented me before that and although I dropped the weights to ease back into it I found my quads getting tired about 3/4 of the way through squats. Maybe going running on each of the previous two days didn't help though.
