OCUK dispatch times - anyone know the answer?

Hi guys

I placed an order yesterday afternoon and selected free shipping. It stated that it would be delivered on Monday 28th but at the moment it's still showing that it's in the warehouse queue so I'm guessing it hasn't gone out today.

Do OCUK dispatch on a Sunday?

Yes I did ask in the order queries forum but it hasn't been looked at yet. :p
 
How late in the afternoon? Usually anything ordered before ~4pm is dispatched that day. I do not think dispatches are made on the weekend at all but that might be wrong, I rarely order on a weekend and always before as I fully expect no deliveries to be made.
 
Nope, don't think so.
When I ordered then it said dispatched on tuesday, but arrived tuesday :)
EDIT: They ship on saturday
 
Wow, thanks for those incredibly speedy replies!

I got my order confirmation email through at 16:28 on Friday, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be dispatched then but I was expecting it to be sent out today as all the items were in stock (I checked before confirming) and the delivery date on the website said Monday for free delivery.


Hmmmmm.

Mmmm, bit strange, I will reply to your thread on Monday, unfortunately there is not a lot I can do now from home, but on Monday I shall get back to you and sort it all out for you. :)
 
The CPU cooler shows one in stock, wonder if these are out of stock and could be a discrepancy on the what online store shows.

Yeah I realise of course that you can't do anything now, I was wondering if it hadn't been put on a van or if the system was just being a bit slow in updating, I guess that means it's not been dispatched them.

I'll appreciate any help in getting it on it's way, it's going to be used as part of a rebuild in two machines (myself and my partners) and we've scheduled some downtime to do it, we're self employed so need the computers to be down for the absolute minimum time...no pressure then!

While I have your eye, can I just confirm that the RAM I've ordered will definitely be OK on that board, I'm sure it is but I've just had a slight wibble with ordering two dual channels instead of a single quad channel.

There were three in stock when I ordered them.

I assume that when they are ordered and the payment clears it'll automatically deduct that from the available stock showing?

That's what I normally see when I order stuff on Ocuk.

Edit, the ram ordered should work fine, I run 2 lots of the Kingston ram on my Gigabyte Z68 board without issue.

Normally I think, but I have found sometimes that I've ordered items (1 remaining), queried a lack of information about it and they've said it's not in stock any more. It happens occasionally but I don't think too frequently..

It may only happen occasionally but that doesn't help me unfortunately. If I was just excited to get the parts I'd be irritated but that just adds to the excitment, these are business purchases and I've had to organise my customers orders around the downtime that will be caused by the upgrade path, that makes it more than a minor irritation.

Ah free delivery, ive just been paid and want a new case but can't justify the £15 postage in my budget :(

Ouch, that's a fair whack...I can't remember what the requirements for free postage are off the top of my head but I think they increased them a while ago.

i wouldnt stand for this OP! demand free haribos!

I'd settle for just getting the stuff on time to be honest.

The requirements for access to the Members Market changed earlier this year.

The requirements for free delivery are still the same: Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

It's 250 posts and 3months being registered for free postage. I'm after the raven rv03, cheapest place on the web is OCUK but with the postage...
 
I wouldn't worry, I ordered my ssd and some cables etc at 4:56pm on a Friday, and they arrived on the Monday, if I can remember correctly tracking didn't update till Sunday evening. So hopefully you should get it on Monday :) although I did get a dispatch email shortly after ordering...
