Inferno Act 2 gear check - Picture of EVERYTHING I'm using with all my stats:
http://s13.postimage.org/6bmxufkp1/gearcheck.jpg

I'm wondering why my armour is so low in comparison to other people, especially considering I'm using a shield. What gear should I prioritise changing and what stats should I be looking at increasing? I'm trying to get resists to about 600 at least (Stacking all resists + Fire), not sure on armour, dex or vitality.

Tell me what gear sucks (Yes I'm waiting for someone to say everything, hurr hurr) and what desperately needs changing for something else and what stats I should be looking to get on them.

Just cleared Normal mode last night, had been having trouble on the last few maps getting one shotted a lot - and the big cheese himself was eating me for lunch.

Quick trip to the AH for some new gear and nothing could touch me. If i'd been wearing gear that dropped for the level then no chance.

Played a little bit of Act 3, the gold drops and blue/yellow item drops have really ramped up, got 40k in a super short time. Went onto the AH out of interest, can dramatically increase my DPS very easily, couple of yellow items for a few hundred gold.

Finished Hell Mode. Was Fairly Easy.

Only boss that took more than one attempt was one just before diablo.

On Inferno now near act 2 lot harder but doable.:D

Reached Nightmare last night and have been playing through Act 1 this morning. Archon form - lol? The time extension on this WILL get nerfed.

Whilst there are a couple of fights in this game that can get you to 2-3 minutes on Archon, in Inferno I found it a pretty trash ability for the most part. You need to be in a full group first of all for it to work properly on Inferno, just so you have the chance of the breathing room to use it. As things can just come over and wreck you within a couple of seconds of popping it, kiting with it up makes it beyond useless. Secondly due to the way the stacking buff at 60 works, if you want to keep that buff for bosses you won't be swapping such things as archon in and out.

Basically once you reach Inferno, especially act II+, all those fun abillities you so enjoy from normal-hell aren't really viable anymore. It's about surviving / mobility. I only use 2 offensive spells - they are boring ones also, but they get the job done.

Try to get all res + physical res, dont bother with single elemental ones.
I'd say get more dex and less vita. Also, dont monks get a passive which increases their dodge with 2 weapons ? That would give you more surv than a shield.

Also I'd go with lower dps weapons that have stats instead, will give u same dps but more benefits. 940dps is nice but an 750-800dps with 150dex will give u same results + extra dodge and maybe some other options along the way.

---------
Just noticed the 2 items u got with crit %.
Dont bother having crit % items unless you stack a lot of it along with 2 weapons with +Crit dmg. Anything less than +15% crit and 150% crit dmg not worth it, better just get more dex/allres/physical res and attack speed where you can on top of that.
