the only thing it acheves is going into the options and disabling character sounds.

The fact it gets you so angry even talking about it is why people do it. People play badly when they're angry.
Are you for real? You really need some thinker skin. People will try and **** you off anyway they can. Why do you think people trash talk so much? It gets under your skin and causes you to make mistakes. If you're muting people that do it why is it even an issue to you?
you get banned for trash talking if people report you.
i got a 7day ban for shouting "next!" everytime i killed someone typing /laugh over and over and over is far worse
although with the way the tribunal system is i think pretty much anyone with enough reports to end up on there is likely to get banned as people dont give a **** and just click guilty

I dont agree with this, Personally I spend a lot of time reading the chat logs, looking at the scores and items and coming to a decision.
Their are far far to many games in LoL where someone will get reported for doing nothing wrong , where the rest of the team have broken every rule in the game. (flaming, abuse, farming, pushing a lane that isnt theres etc).
obviously you get the complete tards that deserve the insta-ban , like buying all shoes in a game, racial flaming etc, people saying 'easy' at the end of a game - but a lot of the cases are very 50/50 and some are just damn right innocent.

Agreed, when I did it (it's been a while!) I looked at the whole chat log. However if a person got goaded into action then got silly that would be a bannable in my book
On the laughing, not seen this but if I did this it's so much better than the verbal chat that occurs. Just get in your head not to get wound up by it -don't get sucked into it - you're probably conversing with school children and enjoy the game.

I convinced a friend to sign up recently and he likes it a lot, so I've been playing a couple of games with him. He's L14 at the minute and it's mainly been bots until now.
He's obviously at a lower elo in the random queue than me and I nearly lost it tonight with a really raw bunch of players. It started ok and mid was a breeze on vlad, since their ahri was pushing like a pregnant mother and all I had to do was sit back and farm. Happy days...
Bot and top fed like, well feeders... Just totally wrecked the game. It was almost funny if it wasn't so utterly pathetic. The opposing team had 4 AD's on it and yet I'm the only one with any armour...
Had to just be honest and say I'd wait til he was L30, I honestly just couldn't deal with that level of silliness all over again. I know sometimes you get bad games and people have silly moments, but there's nothing like playing with a bunch of low level newbies to really put things in perspective lol

Common sense really, the match making system will try to balance for the average level, so if you join your friend with a level 30 whilst he's on his level 14, you are going to throw the game into disarray with the matchmaking struggling to choose equal players.
Some people love playing against noobs, ruins the game tbh
people should get banned for saying easy?
its better than them saying GG surely if the game was a one sided easy victory
