Best Fans For Rads

On my rig atm i have a triple rad and a single rad all with the Akasa Apache fans in push but want to run push pull setup and was just wondering if any one has a preference to what fans to use/are best to use for this

They do exist, however I find it better to use a 4 channel and pair fans off on it. The GT1850s arent particularly power hungry so most decent controllers should allow this.

yeah i get you, thanks for the help will have a look for a decent 4 channel controller then will clear ocuk's stock of the fans

Noctua nf-f12s are the best fans full stop, they're a little pricey, but they perform better than scythe gts, and they're also quieter. Only problem for some people (not me) is the colour of them

Admittedly for air cooling the Noctuas are damn good, but for water cooling they fall into the category of "the best of the rest". On a radiator you can't compare them, NF-F12's are noisier and push less air than Scythe GT AP-15's at the same rpm. And the GT's have the option of cranking it up even higher if you so wish :)

Plus the Noctuas are around £5 more expensive than the GTs and unless you have a desert storm themed case look a bit out of place in a lot of rigs :)

yep, martin has proved many times that the ap-15's are the fans to beat :)

Er.. all Scythe Gentle Typhoon (GT) are AP :p

AP-15 is just the normal Scythe GT 1850rpm fan.

Where you thinking of some other type of Scythe GT?
