I found the Crucial M4 SSD cheaper on 4 different very popular websites and was wondering if OCUK price match?

I have always bought from ocuk maybe around £6k to £8k since i opened my account.

but times are hard and a price match would be amazing.

Do they offer this service?

no they dont offer a price match which is shame because there are few other retailers out there that are considerably cheaper, probably just best to get from them.

or wait for this week only offers or so.

They haven't matched prices when I have asked, so i guess not.

edit: Cyber, that might not go down too well :D

Problem is a lot of these companies don't actually hold stock (even tho it might say the item is in stock) or may be drop shippers and while they have great prices you will be waiting awhile before they can source it at that price. OcUK would go out of business trying to price match that business model.

Although if its a large established business with a long track record then it would be competitive to try and match them. On the flipside personally I'd rather pay a little extra and use OcUK as its generally been a better overall experience than many of the competitors.

They don't have a price match policy.

If you wan't to contact them about a specific product then I believe they'll see what they can do.

They matched my graphics card price when I enquired if they would in the OcUK Customer Service forum.

They've done similar for me, it's worth posting.

I've ordered parts from other retailers and have been disappointed in the past, I always end up coming back to OcUK due to after-sales support.

lol, what a daft argument, both because OCUK aren't cheaper than plenty of places that have stock, and OcUK more than anyone else maybe do their preorder price deals.... which I can't think of another way to describe that as, doing great prices on things they don't actually have in stock surely?

OCUK do tend to be good with stock, and getting it in first, but cheap, they weren't for donkeys years, then they spent probably 2 years beating everyone on price for almost everything..... but its been a long time since that.

I was planning to get all my parts from OcUK this time round but but due to them having no stock of one item i had to look around and found they were no where near on a few products. They would get a lot more trade if they did price match and they could do it only where we supplied a link to reputable company's that list the product in stock.

I was about to buy this ram

Then found it on xxx and here for £15 cheaper
xxx

It's been a while since I bought anything computer related but OCUK do not price match at all?
I remember OCUK being the cheapest but now I am starting to rethink where I should order from :/

Don't link to competitors. Be a good idea to remove your link from your post before someone else does it for you.
