As above. I have some set search terms, which mean if I get the item, I'll probably profit. The only real thing that causes me to lose money is when something might be gemmed, but even in that case I tend to be able to break even...

Also, anyone else finding that loads of 'sold' items are showing up in their search terms?

Really starting to bug me...

That chest armour will be worth a bit. Can't quite say how much, but 1000k+ pretty easily I'd say.

The other two might suffer because they have no Res All. But the Phys res on that shield should give it a good value too, especially considering it's armour value.

No idea about the wiz helm, don't keep an eye on that stuff.

Best bet is to look for similar stat stuff to be honest...

I am really confused with this game.

I am playing on NM,level 40 Monk and I was dual wielding until now.I picked up a blue shield which gives +44 vit and NOTHING else.I am swapping the shield with one of my rare fists (which gives +dex,crit and a bunch of stuff)and boom,+100 dps.How is that possible?What's the purpose of dual wielding then?How can a fist and a shield make more dmg than 2 fists!?

dual wielding alternates between weapons with a slightly better APS (15% I think), if your off-hand weapon is much lower damage/dps than your primary, replacing it with a shield could actually increase your dps as every hit is coming from the more powerful weapon

I can farm Act 1 inferno on my Barb pretty easily now although I haven't tried the Butcher more than once... Not feeling to confident about that.

I'm just struggling to understand what sort of gear I'll be needing for Act 2 Inferno.

Most of my gear is Vit/Str + All resist.

My next upgrades should be the same stats but higher values I imagine?

If you want inferno mats just salvage lvl 60 gear, most stuff under 60 will give you hell mats.

Mats aren't really the problem, it's the 50k to craft for a total random item. By the time you get something good unless you're super lucky, could have just bought it on the AH.

I agree, I am yet to craft something that's of any use at all. Stats are far too random in this game

It is lame. I appreciate Blizzard charge a slight premium for their games, totally justified as they make brilliant games, but £44 for a CD key is an absolute joke :/

But yeah, my other ring is a simple Magic ring, but with Str + Atk spd...

Don't focus on lifesteal (% of damage done to life) if you're wanting to progress in inferno. The effectiveness of that effect is reduced by 80% in inferno difficulty. Life on hit is where it is at for Barbs along with the usual defensive stats (resists, armor, reduced damage from elites)

To clarify, Life on hit is not affected by that lifesteal difficulty nerf?

If not, Ill pick up my barb again!

Yeah dual wielding increases your attack rate slightly and alternates your weapons, so if one of them is too weak then the increase in attack rate will provide less dps than simply using one weapon.

Started on Act I Hell with my DH. Killed the Skeleton King earlier and had a couple of really nasty champion packs earlier on. Not had trouble with anything else except 1 Elite with Fast and 1 Champion pack with Fast. Was impossible to outrun them even when chucking down 60% Caltrops. Only died on them once each but its a far cry from waltzing through act IV Nightmare...

Can you explain to me why that is a good ring? Doesnt having all 3 primary stats mean they are wasted? Was under impression u just stacked the stat for your class? N resists etc if ur a barb/monk?
