Beer is losing its alcohol

Go to your local butchers! 6lb prime mince (not the cheap sort) minced on site £6 at my local, I buy it and split it in to packs then bung them in the freezer.

As for larger, well who really cares I can **** stronger fizzy stuff! Cider Me up BABY!!

I would expect it to get worse too. It seems like more and more places are popping up that sell higher quality brews and more people are drinking them.

I'm suppose I'm a beer snob but then I couldn't not be after trying all the different beers I have.

The lager people have one thing going for them in that they haven't started down the path of paying twice as much for their beer (imported craft beers), and as they're used to it they will be happy with any old glass of ****. Almost wish I hadn't discovered the good stuff.

You certainly are a beer snob.

You're suggesting that lager drinkers don't like what we drink. I've drank all sorts of beers, and quite frankly I like what I like - and I'm rather put out by people who think just because I like pale lager then I've no taste.

no, if i want to get drunk id drink 10 @ 5.2% :)
ive drunk stella for many many years, always enjoyed 4 cans @ 5.2% to unwind after a hard days work, but it doesnt hit the spot @ 4.8% so i end up drinking more/faster which sucks, i will be looking for another premium lager as a replacement now that stella is no longer a premium strength drink

If it bothers you that much make your own costs about £20 for 40 pints.

Or the recent cider i made £8 for 40 pints.
Make it as strong as you like as well.

Assuming they're 500ml cans 4 of 5.2% would be 104ml of alcohol, 6 at 4.8% would be 144ml.

Why does being slightly weaker require you to drink nearly 40% more alcohol in total?

Exactly what I was thinking

13 Cans of 4.8% is the same content as 12 cans at 5.2%
Most people probably can't tell the difference.
 
Carlsberg and Carling drinkers should be sterilised.

Drink some proper Euro beers like Dortmunder union!!!
