To be honest, I'm a little annoyed. From what I gather you have read all the books and you don't know.

I clearly asked for those who haven't read the second book (last part by now) or those just following the series. Now from what I gather the Hound is still alive in book five. At least we hopefully find out in the last two books why.

Get off it.
In no way shape or form was there any insinuation or hint at the Hound lasting/being in any other book.

I felt the same. The GoT would not be the same without Tyrion and I was really shocked when that Kingsguard sliced his face (same guy who supposedly killed Syrio?) Pretty sure it was.

Joffrey ordered Sir Borris & Sir Manden (whoever those two are, don't recall hearing of those two before) to stay with his uncle and represent the crown on the battlefield.

Strange as it would make more sense for sir Merrin to try and kill tyrion as he no doubt hates him for threatening to get bronn to kill him but as far as i could tell he wasnt in the episode :p

So much going on. I had a soft spot for The Hound but he has evolved into such an amazing character.

Yeah for his lack of dialogue his is one of the more intriguing characters.

The river wasn't constantly on fire.

I think that might have been more to the hounds fear of fire, where we only see a few small fires it kind of shows it through his eyes and he sees a raging inferno. At least thats what it looks like to me :)

I felt for Stannis as he had the balls to lead his men, was first off the boats and one of the first up the ladders. Yea, I know he killed his bro and that was a little underhand :p

Yet that little turd Joffrey remains...

Oh, and some of the more profound dialogue coming from the hound was surprising.

Ser Mandon Moore of the Kingsguard tries to kill Tyrion, probably in the employ of Cersei or Joffrey, or possibly his own desire

Preview for next week's episode

Spoilers obviously. It'll be hard to beat this weeks episode though.

Special 70 minute finale apparently :)

So Cersei was actually going to kill Tommen?

Say Stannis had 60,000 men to begin with (bit of a random number, if Renly had 100,000 and not all of them went to Stannis). A good number of his ships were destroyed and god knows how many on the shores. They're in retreat and the gods only know where their morale is at. Is he still a fighting force?

From what I could tell it was a case of putting him out of his misery. If Joffrey was dead Tommen is the rightful heir (if we assume it is Rob Baratheons kids) so would be slaughtered by Stannis, should would rather put him into a deep sleep that he doesn't wake from. As power-hungry as Cersei might be there is no denying she has immense love for her two youngest.

It's hard to say... He's still a threat, but his army is significantly diminished. He's not strong enough to launch another major military offensive just yet (at least not another assault on King's landing), but he may be strong enough to do something else of note.

Remember - he still has Lady Melisandre and her dark shadow-queefing powers.

The rightful heir is Stannis.

Tommen isn't a Baratheon.

However, since Joff is the king (Even though pretty much everyone I believe knows he's born of incest) in his death, it'd make Tommen king.

Nice, I just googled 'Tommen' to see his heritage and saw a massive spoiler  god damn books. I am right, he is a baratheon. Only as much as Joffrey but there is no real proof of incest and anyone that has come close to solidly proving it so far has been killed off, such as Arryn and Ned.
