GSMarena have an exclusive as to why the Pebble release was delayed.

It was a botch up in the manufacturing process as we all know HOWEVER there's an error in both the front and back panels which apparently didn't match in colour.

Pulling them back to replace the covers? Who wants a loose cover? Roll up for the 1st batch of Blue units

I know they will be professionals but once you assemble something, take it apart and back to together again it wont be fixed as first time manufacture.
