Antec Kulher 620 cooled Nvidia GTX670.... (pics inside)

Great idea, but look at that pcb. I mean £300 plus for a gpu with an absolute joke of a cooler and half a real pcb. what are you actually paying for? Performance? When i pay 300 pounds for something i like to see something substantial.

I would rather pay for performance. If it was the size of a matchbox but performed like a mofo - all good! :)

Awesome mod OP. It's a pity it makes the card a 3 slotter if not 3.5.

Just thinking out load here; with the short pcb of the 670 nvidia or aib partner could use the released space to add in a block with pump etc. Would make it a complicated card tho!

And why does the reference cooler remind me of a stack of crumpled dollar bills? (Okay the image is of $100 bills, but you get the idea ;))

Could call it the stock (market) cooler :D

Nice mod OP, I quite like it. Just wish there were more short reference design PCB 670's with better coolers such as the MSI Cyclone or the Sapphire Xtreme design! The reference coolers are totally pants and I'm guttered that my Gelid Tranquillo Rev.2 isn't supported!

The worst part is due to short PCB, the "proper" coolers won't fit on :(

Only reason I went back to AMD TBH

Great work Monkey!

I'm most likely going to get myself a Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo II and put it on the reference gtx 670 MSI one I have to lower the noise on load.

I find it strange that people are saying it doesn't "look" like a £300 card, surely the performance is the number 1 criteria?! If its outperforming cards twice its size then great.

Looks are as important as performance in the computer market!

Would you buy a Lambo if it looked like a prius? :p

I quite like the Prius so yes :p

But I don't spend any time looking at the innards of the PC, I prefer looking at its output on the monitor, so I couldn't care less what it looks like to be fair
