I'm not jumping on the 'bash up Blizzard' bandwagon, however, I work long hours and rarely get an hour or two to sit down and play a game. I sit down tonight, finally, and again I can't play my single player game that I am close to finishing (see, told you I don't get much time to play!!) and am enjoying and was looking forward to.

It's not good enough. It'd be bad if it was an online game, but a single player game that I can't play because the publisher/developer/whatever can't get their act together is very very poor.

Great product, I really enjoy the game, but very badly implemented. I will think twice before buying Blizzard again. Not saying I won't buy Blizzard, but it'll have to be a cracker of a game or it's just not worth the effort.

I'll wait until it's stabilised before even trying, best not to get connected then be disconnected during play.
Blizzard clearly sitting with their thumbs up their **** for the last 12 years, certainly weren't thinking about how to get this game out in a good state...

Don't think i would be thinking about that either with 300+ million in sales :p

i highly doubt the actual game has been developed for 12 years, more like 2.

but i think they are very clever, leaving a gap that big has generated massive sales for a IP that is obviously loved by fans, it's just to bad that no company gives a **** about the fans anymore and if you think otherwise then you only have yourself to blame for being stupid.

300+ million in the bank OR make people happy with everything they want from a game they have been playing for near on 20 years (D1,2,3)

ive just pre ordered torchlight 2 from steam cos i needed a fix

you get torchlight 1 FOC and tbh im absolutely loving it maybe even more so than D3

Whilst I agree with people complaining about how poor they manage their infrastructure, particularly when they have no updates and their server status page shows their servers as being online, the official Blizzard forums are full of kids just QQing. Some people need to grow the **** up!

OcUK isn't much better some of the time. :o

I'm with Disjunto. It's an immense number of users they're dealing with, and it was always going to have teething problems on this scale. And this isn't large scale they're working on, it's immense scale. They're constantly working to improve it, where a lot of companies would already have moved on to the next project.

Regardless of the issues, it's still one of the best games I've played in a long long time by some way. Given their justifications for online only, I'm 100% behind them. Cheaters ruined D2 for me.

Torchlight 2 is much better than diablo 3

Too many people getting sucked up by the name it's a downgrade from diablo 2 in a wow skin :(

Yes, but even Diablo 3's art direction and graphical quality far surpasses Torchlight's primary-coloured cartoon world.

It doesn't look very good.
