
The floods in Thailand seem to have delayed things a little. We should have 5TB 3.5" HDDs by now.![]()
I think that is a bit optimistic, all the floods have done is speed up SSD adoption rate.
Well SSD production was not effected in the same way and the prices have dropped so much recently (Which could indicate over capacity in the marketplace or the next Gen are close to release - take your pick) it makes more sense for new or replacement boot drives to be the SSD form factor
