I might go into bed/mattress stores and hunt out these mattresses and see what this fully memory foam mattresses are like.

Mattress man, 100's to chose from, memory foam get bloody hit though so be warned. The more it's pocket sprung the better imo

I would not bother with memory foam. Absolutely rue the day I bought mine. Going in the bin soon especially if it gets hot again as it turns me into a sweaty mess.

You may want to try some before you buy :).

Oh, and cheap memory foam mattresses are awful.

I've got a pocket strung Sealy with a latex topper, sooooo comfortable!

I bought mine from Dreams. Went in and tried all of them. You're able to use the mattress for a few weeks and if not happy you can swap it for another in their range.

Spends as much as you can. You spend an awful lot of time in bed over the course of a lifetime.

p.s. How's your sister and your crazy life working out? You've been quiet recently :(

Funnily enough I took stock of a new mattress yesterday which is pocket sprung and very comfortable. I also got a memory foam "topper" (from John Lewis) primarily to head off complaints from the strife about softness (I prefer hard).

Have to say the bed is now extremely comfortable but the memory foam stinks! A few days airing should hopefully sort.

Cheers, Paul.

Weird our memory foam didn't smell, and is fine in the summer, wasn't even that expensive, well £150. Health of my back is an investment.

Hehe, not too bad actually good days 'n' bad. Lost my car in the end *they aare asking for my book of ownership the gargage - think I shall send it and say it got backtracked to me in the post) and I think they will drop it. but at least next time I get a car I have my NCB!! Yay!! Had my shed broken into and £700 bike taken - lucky I have it back! I wanna buy a tracking system or summit that goes inside so when stolen I can trace on my phone - if that exists. It's f-ing aweful here for crime.

I was gunna make a new thread but basically I am decorating my room and confused what to go for colour wise ..... Feng Shui seems interesting. but I will keep this for my mattress.

Another thing I need to buy a side table.if I can move the comp over I can move my fridge and have a side table eitherside. (fridege is next to bed)

Op, do NOT buy a mattress until you have read the articles on this site:

http://www.factory-beds-direct.co.uk/

You don't have to buy from them, but their advice is absolutely top notch and saved me from spending hundreds on a **** mattress from dreams which (not knowing any better) was overpriced ****.

I purchased the Hypnia mattress that you've linked OP, its absolutely quality. I got it direct from the manufacturer for cheaper if i remember

Been looking for one myself. Got around £400-600 for one, sadly only one I have liked is £2000, knew I shouldn't have tried that one. One thing I've found out is you can't buy online from just specs, you really do need to go and try them out.

Just to offer the opposite opinion, ours is great. Fine in the heat, too. Spent about £500-600 on it if that helps to gauge.
