Anyone facy a quick game?

I'm currently in inferno act 2 and failing bad (barb) but if anyone wants a game in lower difficults Ill be tempteded.

ID is RossXF#2748

Gunna have a fag, then if anyone wants to play I will.

I quite like the AH. Snapping up an absolute bargain before anyone else is most satisfying :)

I saw an 860dps axe yesterday with 401 life one hit, atks 19% and something else for a foolish 350k! I had to re-read it again as I was like lolwut but when I hit buyout some other swine got it :|

Regarding the loot drops. Wtf do people want? To find some uber-cool gear everytime they log on? Do they expect every yellow that drops to be worth millions?

Lol comon. I must have put 20 hours into inferno act 1. Out all all the loot that I found, easily 40+ rares, of note there was some set gloves that sold for 190k and a decent belt that I'm currently wearing. A couple of others that sold between 40/60k on AH. This is all with 60% MF.

I don't see what the problem is. Personel preference...Perhaps people expect rares to be like actual 'rares' in D2. They didn't drop often, but when they did, they were usually pretty decent.

Just finished the game today with my DH. Not sure if I can bother to play through it again. Right at the end with my barb, so will probably just finish it with him too. The AH kind of kills the drive to find new items since you can just buy powerful gear on there. That seems to be the complaint by most people who've reached Hell/Inferno. You just buy good gear then play practically the whole game not using anything you find since it's junk. Don't feel like playing through Nightmare and Hell to get to Inferno either.

Also (SPOILER):
The story was garbage and I am sick of Jennifer Hale's voice in games (she voiced Leah and did Shephard's voice in Mass Effect, and she's done loads of other games/cartoons). You would think a studio like Blizzard could hire some good writers. Like what are the chances of Tyrael landing on the Cathedral from D1 and D2? He falls from The Heavens, and out of the entire world of Sanctuary, he just happens to land on the exact cathedral from the first 2 games. And then the monsters showing up as a result was very weakly justified (him being the angel of justice and they wanted justice...). The whole thing was just very poorly realised. And it appeared that the art department had a miscommunication about how Leah and Diablo were connected - they made Diablo suddenly be feminine demon with boobs just because he was disguised as a woman. His vessel had no bearing on him, since when he is a demon that's his true form, as Imperius said.

simply not true.
1) normal is nothing - the game starts at nightmare and above. the difference is simply night and day

2) athene has thousands of people gold and item farming for him and he still doesnt have the best gear in the game - not even close. Hes now thinking about optimum farming spots. So the AH ruins nothing , and its never the best gear - it will be months before that even shows on the AH and it will probably be many more months before someone can actually buy it.

3) the AH is an asset, its not easy mode - blizz clearly want people to farm , auction stuff - save money until items they want appear if it doesnt drop etc.

Was just gathering NV stacks for a pony level run and found this bad boy

Only other one like it on the AH is up for 9.5 million..Keep or sell hmmmm

Hehehe.

The game starts at Inferno and above xD

That's when it actually becomes a challenge to be honest...

Killed Kulle and Belial today. (Inferno)

Kulle was easy, just required a small amount of kiting, Belial was also pretty easy with a small amount of kiting to avoid his green swirls of death.

Mobs definitely put up a bigger issue than the bosses...

I definitely need some better gear before Act 3 mind. I walked into that, and it then becomes kind of corpse runs.

Is that really worth that much :O

It's got crit hit chance + damage, + atk spd, + vit, and + damage. All of them are pretty desired. If you threw in All res instead of that LPS, it would be close to a perfect ring.

Yeah I know Normal is just the intro to the real game, and I was looking forward to playing Nightmare, but now I don't have the drive to do it. Maybe if I take a break from it I will get the urge again. And I'm not referring to the best gear in the entire game when I mentioned the AH, I'm talking about the best for Nightmare and Hell, since I have read many posts by people saying they just kitted themselves out from the AH and then had nothing to look forward to. Inferno is a different story since people seem to be moaning about imba this and that as usual.

I could always play through without using the AH. It would have been cool if Blizzard had let us choose any class on our next play through and continue from the same level we ended the previous difficulty on. I would like to play as Monk but I'd have to go all the way through Normal again with him, while I still need to play through the game twice more with my DH if I want to see what Inferno is like.

After many many deaths at inferno I went shopping, spent ~350k and changed all my gear except from an amulet and a ring.

Before the upgrade

31k health
7.6k dps
4620 armor
17 all res (lol)

After the upgrade

29k health
12k dps
5604 armor
286 all res

The difference is massive.Farming will be more enjoyable now :D
