Pilot's view from Jubilee flypast

I'm sure I saw "popup" - as in distant objects "popping" in to view like they used to in videogames. I worry about my sanity sometimes.

lol. I think they were using pixel graphics that than polygon's.. so I think you must be mad :D

Awesome view :)

Fantastic view but technically for most of the video footage it was either the bomb aimer's view or the rear gunner's

I would have thought the BBC would have gotten it right tbh.

Ahh that's awesome.

But isn't the guy in the front there the bomb aimer? He's even playing with the aiming thingymajig.

Use to love it when they flew over my house in formation on their way into london. Same path every time, so would see the live feed on the TV, see they were getting close, nip out watch them go over, then back to the TV to see them go over central london in a few minutes time. Sadly they haven't been using that flight path for the recent stuff :( But still great to see the pilots view.

Random fact of the day, the original name for the Spitfire (which is simply perfect) was going to be the Shrew. Glad they changed it.

It must have been quite warm up there, when it cuts to the view from the Spitfire, you can see the drivers only have the fans on the front of the aircraft running slowly. One of them even seems to switch it off.

kidding
