Chelsea are considering a £20m move for Everton's 24-year-old Marouane Fellaini, who tops their list of candidates for a midfield enforcer.

20+ I imagine we will bite your hands off. Not a deal that I would be sad to see go through.

From what I can workout Chelsea can afford to be £45mil in the red with this FFP and for the last season it only works out to be £3mil in the red so Chelsea can spend £87mil and effectively offset it for season 2013/2014.

I am sure Roman Abramovich has far more intelligent people than us sorting the Chelsea finances and they will never miss out on the "Champions League"

Our press tried, FIFA laughed at us and then Sepp banished his only other competitor in the race for head of FIFA so he ran unopposed. These people have more power than is normal, they can't be over turned.

Our press is an Aussie chap who is being done over phone hacking though so he can't really be taken seriously any more. Whatever happened to that chap who infiltrated the Chelsea Headhunters - Donal McCyntire or something.....? He could do it.

Aaron Martin is joining Crystal Palace on loan next season from Southampton :)

Well pleased about this! Martin is a decent CB, had a good opening game against Leeds (despite the dubious handball at the end of the game) and made some good appearances over the season, was arguably better than Fonte in some game and did a Gazza-esque miss away at Forest :D (didn't matter as we were 3 up)

Hopefully he gets what he needs of an entire year of being first choice CB as I am a big fan of his

20m for Felliani is an absolute bargain!
I'm surprised City aren't in for him, he pretty much won them the title after his performance against Man U at OT.
I really hope if he does become available we do. Great player who has really grown into the prem. Everton will want 40m+ from us though :(

Yaya and Felliani in midfield

I've got a real hard time seeing what's so amazing about Fellaini

In that game against us he was a good target man but it was Jelavic's clinical finishing that really did us.

20m does seem about the going rate for a PL player going to another PL club though

EDIT: Before Andy asks me the same question yes the only time I've ever really paid attention to Everton full stop is when we play them

No.

Where did you read that lol?

I think there were agent rumours reported at the end of the season - rather than direct from the player himself

If Fellani does move I would consider him in the same bracket as Mikel - a bench warmer /squad player rather than a 1st team purchase (for the bigger clubs) - obviously its a brilliant deal for Everton , Im sure Moyes would love to be able to spend £20+m on new players

nice bit of a business but a shame never the less, decent squad player who will always get you a goal, gone.
