Weight study

I'm the same...better to go by waist to height measurement.

I'd look stupid on that also because of this:

I train for strongman :)

Height: 6.2
Weight: 238
BMI: 30.6

officially obese by .6 then. I know I'm carrying at least 2 stone more than I like, but never get told I'm fat and people can't believe it when I say I weigh 17 stone. Must be the big shoulders ? Now where's that fat siphoning kit I bought off the bay, Scalpel included

interesting survey btw OP

Agreed. 33" but problem is I have to wear 36" as my thighs and my powerful rump don't fit 34" trousers! :'(

I've started wearing "urban" fit trousers (from the black guy clothes shop). Specifically cut for that problem. No joke they are really cut different. Problem is most of them have elaborate designs and stuff on them, hard to find plain ones.

"suggests steroids use" ?

ALL those strongmen and power lifter guys use steroids, they are just fat too because they dont care about looks. Nothing wrong with that though!

And that thick waste thing is a load of BS.

Steroids actually protect your spine and joints btw.

Mariusz is a legend and far from the norm, you should be aware of that.

Yes, most of them probably have done something when it comes to steroids, the majority of them are now more like the picture above than stupidly fat though. It's a professional era now and the body types are starting to represent that

Also, go try some strongman events, you'd be amazed at how differently your core is worked compared to using oly bars etc.

Also there's plenty of fat people who are perfectly healthy, some even very fit.

And plenty of thin people having strokes, heart attacks, tons of visceral fat on there insides, arteriosclerosis, high BP, etc.

But apparently having a 36" waist is considered ok?! May be ok but most people would have a significant amount of fat with that measurement (that's at 6'1).

I have a 35" waist and no excess fat......I am 6ft 2". It is about a healthy weight and that doesn't mean being ripped.
