Secret Cinema

Looked at the videos on the website and that looks pretty awesome.
Thats a great way to watch films and would definitly make the experience so much better.

So you go and watch an old film at a secret location?

Why do you dress up to do this?

What was all that other **** about?

In short - it's a more socially acceptable version of LARPing by watching a film at the end :p

It creates an experience (not specifically "old" films), the film obviously isn't the highlight of the event.

I suppose your supposed to imagine just for a while you are part of the film and its universe; something tailored for the more die hard motion picture fans and the curious of course.

This isn't particularly new though...

OP does also appear to be on drugs and has seemingly posted a bunch of nonsense. There is also secret bingo nowadays - yup you've guessed it the usual Hoxton Square crowd get dressed up, meet at a "secret" location only announced on the day and then play a game of bingo. Later on everyone draws on each other and generally gets rather drunk, its all a bit silly but because stuff like this is supposedly 'cool' and popular with media types it attracts rather hot girls... therein is a big dilemma.
As stupid as these events are and as rundown and generally shoddy as certain 'trendy' east end venues are pointing out the obvious is decidedly un-cool. Its better to just bite your lip, realise that arty types are still as **** witted as when you were at uni, have a bit of fun, bring back one of the uber trendy little media darlings with you and then proceed to (in the words of OCUK) "Smash her pasty"... Dressing in a Nathan Barley esq manner helps too...

Jesus, this makes even less sense than ... no, it makes no sense.

Sounded interesting, until I had a look on the website.

People watching The Warriors and dressed like they are normally...FAIL.

Sorry for the revival, but anyone been the latest one? I went on Sat and must admit, it was pretty awesome.

Well, if it was Prometheus you went to see, my sister went with a few of her friends (dressed in blue boiler suits). Said she had a cracking time.
