i remember feeling real fear when playing diablo 1 and seeing diablo in the flesh... in D3 i was like WTF? diablo is skinny and has boobs... god knows what they were thinking...
 
if a weapon has a % attack speed bonus does the dps shown for the weapon take this into account... ie. if a weapon says it's 100dps and has 20% speed bonus - is it 100dps or 120dps?
 
Okay, someone posted they just got to level 60 and made 7 million.....I got to 60 only manage to make 1.2 million.....are pple playing alternatives chars as well?
 
So I was about to give in and just accept I need to farm up again after having my gold stolen when I saw in my social tab 'recent players' and low and behold, there's a level 1 monk, a level 29 WD and an epically kitted (judging by the looks of him anyway) level 60 DH in the list. These are the only 3 people and I've never played with any of them. Now I know I didn't trade my money away, but is there any way they could've got my money without logging in directly to my account? I'm tempted to go back to customer support with this info, but don't know if they'll be able to do anything about it...

Their battle tags are Viktor#2979 (the DH), sweaq#1235 and JRtheDUDE#2631. Will that help any?

I was struggling near the end of hell a bit (level 50-54) but then I just focused on health regeneration, I went from 0 to over 500 and that helped a lot. But I have no gold find, i joined one public game where someone had focused on gold find and I just stayed in there as long as possible. They were getting 500 gold + nearly every time.

Attack Speed on a weapon is already factored into the DPS, so is +x% Damage, so in your example it's 100 DPS.

Demons can't die, they just come back when they find a way (in anyway they can)

So D1,2 and 3 diablo will all be of different size,ability etc. just so happens the D3 diablo isn't really diablo of any sort, it's a mix of the other primes all in one through leah.

Pretty much the same for any enemy you see in diablo game they don't die, they are just returned to hell.

Finding Act 2 Inferno too insane still :/ these leaping dog things hit me for 3/4 of my health. Thats with about 3500 armor and nearly 29k HP.

Also I thought the reflect damage elites were bad but these underground basilisks with fire chains + vortex + plague + something else were probably the hardest thing I've come across.

Change of tactic for my WD, currently sitting on 30k health, 600 resists, 650 life per second and 4.7k armour and its going much better in Act 2 at least. Act 3 still too hard though =/

Much less DPS, only 22k with soul harvest compared to 55k but at least I don't die as much now, and my pets can even work in act 1 :D lol
 
People told me you can do an act an hour when creating a new char and funding his gear through a level 60.

I got movement boots, stuck an exp gem in his helm and a damage gem in his weapon and it's still took me just under 5 hours to get to the end of act 2. Eugh. Any tips guys?

Actually quite an interesting watch. He spends about 50 minutes choosing gear. Does a Warden Butcher run and goes to find some more elites before Warden. Then changes to Belial Act II and goes to find some elites before he kills him. Not watched Act III yet. Just finished off Act II and he takes 2 attempts to kill Belial (and it was a very long fight too).

I tried copying his method and best I got was

8k armor, 40k hp, 820-920 ele resist + physical resist, 72% dmg reduction and 6k damage.

and I still got hammered LOL :D guess im not skillful enough

Block chance, having a shield with good block % chance (20%+) really makes a difference, especially when surrounded.

Yea only problem is I think everyone saw that vid and bought all 25+ block chance with resists resold them at 400k+ :(

I had to use my old shield with 20% chance
 
4 butcher runs today,2 full tabs of yellows,all garbage.Not even one worth selling.I hope the new patch gets released soon so I can move on to the next acts,act 1 is terrible for farming at the moment.

Act 1 is where you'll be wanting to stay when 1.0.3 hits!
Act 1 will have a chance of 2% to drop end-game items.

The higher the act, the higher drop rate but more challenge, so it should be interesting..
