***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

At last 3 as sorted it out and I have a White (Wife) and Blue (Me) being delivered Monday :)

Apparently they were waiting for me to pay £1.95 so they could do a credit check but didn't tell me or email me this!

Only thing that put me off was the chap I was talking to went on at lengths about network coverage and they don't put transmitters up in small villages of 12 people lol. I will be OK in Nottingham and East Midlands won't I?

Now to get 2 x Case's, Screen protectors and memory cards :)

I was the opposite... didnt like it from what id seen on the net, and now ive got it and seen it in the flesh, im quite chuffed with it. Sure, its no black, but it has a charm of its own. I still think white is also nice though.
 
Just entered my details for my existing dropbox account and no extra space has been given :( Does it take a little while to update? I already had 8Gb of storage.

Edit: nevermind I'm just being impatient! 56.2Gb of storage :D

And if you complete the tasks online you get even more storage (for a couple of months anyway)
 
had mine about a week - loving it and thats coming from an S2!

Not sure about the official flip case though! £30 for something that looks like a piece of cardboard for a front panel lol.

btw guys - £19.99 for official samsung 32gb class 10 cards at the jungle ;) - perfect match for these

Whats the best app for monitoring what apps are ? My mobile data use seems a bit high, so just want to check whats using it.

£2 more for a class 10 Sandisk Ultra card (U1 class)
 
Just finished customising my S3 to my usual tastes... dark and relatively clean theme. :)

Anyways - other than talk over which colour is best suited to ones skin tone, is there any information in this thread (up to page 200+ it was all pre-release talk!) about best settings/config to use?

Things i've noticed and miss from my sgs2 - No social hub!!! wtf was samsung thinking about leaving us with that flipboard rubbish!!???!! I've had to use Android Pro Widgets to give me a facebook swipe view on screen.

Also no program monitor - but it can be grabbed from the samsung apps store anyway.

I like the new touches - but mostly gimmicky and switched off (i.e. eye monitor thing) Assistive light widget is good, along with alarm widget.Svoice is rubbish too

anyone know how to make the clock with weather widget see through? that would be awesome.

Sorry, should have said what other apps are there ?

My data usage seemed high but I think wifi may of been turned off at some point (doh!). Gonna keep an eye on it.

Just sticking all my music on the card. Didn't want to play using my cheapo card reader, but through the phone appears to work fine
