Hi all

My name's James Mills. I work for the Ingear section of The Sunday Times.

I'm writing a feature on buying a car with over 100,000miles on the clock. I'd like to find a couple of 'case studies' - owners with real-world experience of running a 100k mile car who would be happy to appear in the feature and share their wisdom on this area of the used car market.

If anyone is interested in being involved, please email the details requested below to me at: [email protected]

• Name
• Age
• Where you live
• Car (make and model)
• Mileage (the important bit!)
• How long you have owned the car
• How long you have been buying/running 100,000mile-plus cars
• Contact telephone

Many thanks

James Mills

fox's knowledge goes so far beyond the scope of this brief, but obviously his e39 would be a good example.

i might even send an email in myself. the mileage of my previous cars that i remember goes as follows

237k
190k
122k
155k
135k
120k

ish

Well I'll nominate Fox's incoming entry (being furiously typed right now I'm sure), but I hope in the name of sportsmanship he'll nominate my car. The grey import Market is getting bigger each year and there's some real bargins to be had from the most scrupulous nation on earth in car maintenance.

Fox's ownership of his E39 can be laid out thusly:

The highs:

-Indicator stalk quality
-Irreplaceably great car

The lows:

-Creased leather
-Badger attack

Print this in your newspaper please.
